To change your password: Sign in to your Wix account > at the top right of the page, hover over the user panel > click Account Settings > under Update your password, enter your current and new passwords > click Save Changes.


Note: Your password must be between 4 and 15 characters and may contain English upper and/or lower case characters, numbers and the following special characters: _-!@#$%^&*

    Password question

    There is some safty issues on the Internet today with passwords which is serious. Do you store our data on a norwegian server ? Do I need to chang password.Please advice.

    Like user  mclowr1 I am also receiving a message stating  "Invalid password (must be at least 4 and less than 15 chars)" when I try to verify my password to edit and change it even though I just used the same password to log-in  into the site. This is a problem that makes no sense. Please help!

      Please check out this page for instructions in case:

      - you forgot your password
      - you want to update/ change your password.
      - you forgot the e-mail used to register the account.

      If you still can't login: 

      1. Clear cache
      - Close the Browser and open it again.
      - Go back to the email we sent.
      - Click the link.
      - Click "Load Anyway" on the security warning that pops up. 

      2. Make sure your cookies aren't blocked in your browser.
      If you have blocked your cookies you won't be able to use Wix.
      You can find instructions about your browser cookie depending on your browser here.

      Please note- If you are having problems with resetting your password, please follow these steps:
      If you use Firefox or Chrome and you let your browser save your passwords, you can try to retrieve your login details.
      For Firefox, go to Options --> Security --> Saved Passwords.
      For Chrome, go to Options --> Settings--> click on "Show advanced settings" on the bottom of the page --> under Passwords and forms, click Manage Saved Passwords -> click a password -> Show.

    Some how my web-site got connected to all my wife's information. I not sure how this happen. I want my site connected to my Facebook page. Some how I have to use her password to get to the website. It may be because the email address was set up by her. Any way I need to know how I can fix this.       Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      Are you referring to the Facebook button on the social bar on your site (in the footer)? Please note that you haven't set it up to connect to your FB page and it is still redirecting to the Wix FB page. 

      Please follow the steps below:

      1. From the Social Bar Settings window, click Organize Icons.
      2. From the left of the Organize Icons window, click an icon.
      3. Under Link to, click inside the field.
      4. From the Link to Web Address window that opens, type the URL for your social site.
      5. Click the dial next to Open in new window or Open in same window. Click OK.
      6. Repeat Steps 4 through 7 for all of your icons.
      7. From the Organize Social Icons window, click OK.
      8. Click outside of the Social Bar to close the Social Bar Settings window.
      Regarding the password, you can log in and change it .

      Please go to "My Account" -> click on the right side on "Settings".

      Click on "Update Password" -> make the changes and click on "Update Password".

      You can also change your Email and Username there.

    I keep getting a message " Invalid password (must be at least 4 and less than 15 chars)" when I try to verify my pw to edit and change it! - I  just used the same PW to log-in and am already in the site.

      We apologize for the inconvenience,

      There should be no issue changing the password to a previous password you had in the past.


      I'm not sure I fully understand your issue, please elaborate.

    Change password

    Seriously - this is terrible!  How is it that I created a attractive website and can not find the "my account" or settings button???????  My "manage premium" page is much more convoluted than the one shown above and... I am lost!

    Removing other administrative users

    How/where do I remove/deny other designated users that were originally set up to use my site? I cannot find it.

      If you change your login information such as email address or password, 
      those who do not know the updated information will lose the access to your account as well as to your Editor.

    When I log into wix.com and then I click into My Account, it says: "We noticed you don't have a site yet."

    This leads me to think that I need to connect my wix account (username hassan7075) to our domain which is www.subulussalaam.co.uk.

    How can I do that?

      The username you provided has no websites associated with it, it seems like you are logging in with a different e-mail than the one you originally registered with.


      The domain is associated with a different e-mail & user, please check and ensure you are logging in with e-mail you used when registering.

    I have another problem.

    The website was registered with a email that was spelt wrongly. So when I log into wix.com it shows that our correct email address is not connected to the website.

    How can I get our email address connected to the website and how can I log in to the website to edit it from our email address or from the wix.com website?

      Hi Hassan,

      Please enter your Wix account with the email that was spelt wrongly and now simply change the email to the right on.

      In order to do so, follow these steps:

      Go to My Account > next to Manage Premium, click Settings > change your e-mail. 

      You can also change your user name and password from here.
