When moving from your Desktop Editor to your Mobile Editor, third-party apps that are not mobile-ready will be hidden automatically. These apps have not yet been optimized for mobile and therefore will not display correctly on your mobile site.

To add any of these apps back to your site: From the left side of the Mobile Editor, click the Add icon > click Hidden Items > click the eye icon next to the relevant element.

Note: The apps which have been optimized for mobile sites can be found under the Mobile Optimized section of the Wix App Market.

    I used the Iframe app to embed my website. On the mobile version it is off the grid. When I try to bring the website up on my mobile device my wix website will not display the window that pops up on my mobile device say to publish my site which I have done several times.

    I am using the Etsy Shop app, which works perfectly for desktop use so far.  However it shows up as an obnoxious, blank white box on mobile, with a link, "Visit Etsy Shop" or something of the like, linking to a "test" Etsy page rather than my own.  If the app doesn't work on mobile, I'd MUCH rather have it hidden like other non-mobile-optimized apps apparently do.  How can I fix this, or at least replace the box (with a link to the shop mentioning that the embedded shop is available on desktop)?  I don't want to have to delete it from the desktop version just to make the mobile better!  Please help!

      Thanks for contacting Wix Support.

      You can hide the Etsy Shop from Mobile view by clicking (on the Mobile Editor) Pages (that are on the left tab) > Etsy Shop > Hide from Mobile view.

    I chose to NOT publish my site with the mobile optimized view. The apps work on a mobile device. However, The page is off. All of my content has shifted to the right of the screen as if its off the page. I can't figure out how to prevent this.

      I checked your site, however I didn't experience any issues viewing it on my mobile device. In addition, I noticed that you have published your site with the mobile optimized view.

    Calendar not displaying on mobile site

    Now that the calendar version has been updated, the calendar itself not longer appears on the mobile version of the site. It shows up on desktop, just not mobile. Is there a fix for this?

    I have put the App SimplyBook on my WiX website but, on the mobile version it appears :

    we are sorry this content is currently not optimized for mobile view

    So I have asked SimplyBook how comes and they suggest to put a Javascript, but this is not working either.

    Can you help me further ?

    Hi there i have my google calender set up on my website so that bands can see whats free , it comes up alright on my computer but not i iphone , is there a reason for this , many thanks

    I too am a premium member and my google database will not work on tablets

    Unless this is fixed  I will go elsewhere - wix will need to add another database which will work

    or get google to update their software

    The poll app was working in the mobile version on my site yesterday. Now suddenly, IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONTEST! it has stopped working on mobile. Can you please tell me how to fix this??

      The app is "Poll" and I sent them a request for help on FRIDAY... it's Sunday and I still haven't gotten a response. There app has damaged a contest I spent weeks setting up and promoting. Our traffic between the 1st and 2nd round of the contest dropped off dramatically due to people not being able to vote via mobile.

      The app show up in the mobile editor as not being hidden, however it doesn't actually show up in the actual view. I've moved every element to make sure it's not hidden under something. It just simply does not show up any more and it did during the first phase of the contest. If there was another app or option available I would immediately change.

      I am furious - weeks of work wasted because this app doesn't work as promised, and is completely unsupported. Not to mention the damage to the reputation of my site.

      Please note that the "poll" app is not mobile optimized. That means it has unstable behavior within mobile devices.

      However, please let us know on what page and location you have the poll so we can take a closer look.

      It's the Pitbull Fan Contest round 3 page (showing on the menu of PitbullGlobal.com) 

      The app shows up in the items list of the mobile app however it does not show up on the actual page. I have moved all the large elements to check that it wasn't hidden behind any of the pictures. The app worked just fine on the 1st round of the contest.

      Thanks, I appreciate your quick response. I have contacted that app directly and it's now been 4 days with no response. I'm pretty much done with them and their unprofessional behavior. Are there any other options you can recommend? Or can you think of a different way I can handle the rest of the contest? we still have one prelim round and then the finals to go. I anticipated this contest driving a lot of traffic to my site, but the lack of mobile functionality has really damaged our response. 

      Any support or suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

      I've noticed you've hidden your 'Poll' object on your mobile optimized view of your site.

      To enable it please select the mobile edit view > hidden items > select 'show' next to the 'poll' object (illustration below:)

      Elia - thank you for your help I genuinely appreciate it. I have actually done that several times. I unhide it, however cannot find it on the page. I have even moved all the large elements to be sure it wasn't behind them. It doesn't show up. then a while later it shows up on the "Hidden" list again.

      I was able to add the poll apps on all the contest rounds pages, is there any where else you would like to add the poll app to?

      I have saved the changes but did not publish them, please review the pages and adjust the poll's location if needed, once you are happen please just publish the site for the changes to appear on the live site.

    ecommerce app not mobile optimized

    My Store page does not show up when accessing from a Mobile Device. It says the content has not optimized for mobile view even though we have selected it in the editor and published it. We are using go daddy for hosting but with wix name servers...Is there additional setup up needed to get the mobile portion functioning? Thanks!

    customize restaurant menu on mobile

    I've chosen the center aligned restaurant menu style for my desktop version. In mobile, it changes to the dish title on the left, price on the right and description below. The problem is my prices and dish titles are long and not all fit in one line.

    I'd like to shift the price below the dish title, only in the mobile view. Is it possible to change the menu layout in mobile to a custom version?

      This doesn't really answer my question. I'm not using any apps - I'm using the Wix restaurant menu layout. Should I just do this in text boxes instead?

      First i want to say that you have a beautiful site :)

      Second , unfortunately the mobile view has fewer options than the desktop view right now.

      So I can suggest you to do what you already wrote in your second comment, use text boxes instead.
