Wix offers an amazing feature which takes your HTML site and automatically creates an optimized version for mobile view. You can then edit your Mobile site using the Mobile Editor.

To switch to the Mobile Editor, simply click the Mobile icon at the top left of your Editor. From here you can change the placement and size of your elements, hide elements from your mobile site, create a Mobile Action Bar and even change the style of certain elements, such as text.

I've tried to set up a mobile site using the instructions, but I don't even see where to manage or edit the mobile site. It doesn't give me the option when I open my account. Edit site is all I get...

Sorry but this new action bar is a joke , so now anyone accessing the mobile site is not actually accessing anything targeted to a mobile site in the first Place , we're just accessing the Full main site with this so called Action bar ,, I mean common . I wish I'd never clicked the DELETE your Mobile site button , cause I though this Action bar was only an option for Your original ((Mobile site)) but No ..and Now I'm like what the Hell !!??
Now I have to choose another hosting service to create a mobile site from scratch .

      Thank you for your feedback.

Please let me understand you thoroughly -- do you mean the Mobile Action Bar isn't working on your mobile device, or that you are unhappy with it overall?

Please bear in mind that the mobile action bar is a step towards a better mobile solution, and that all the information regarding its functionality is available in our Learning Center

You guys "WIX" are losing all kinds of business including my two accounts one of which is premium due to the fact that you gave us a mobile app that we sold to our clients and then decided to not only take it away but substitute it with some dysfunctional nav bar that is sincerely a total joke in comparison. Why would you do that? It messed up my workflow and made me lose two important clients. Not only am I canceling my accounts if something does not change soon, but i will also warn all my designer friends about the fact that WIX is unreliable with it's content and development tools as is the case with my sittuation and all the money I have lost including what I paid to you. Thanks. Real nice experience.

When I log in to my wix account, it offers the new mobile site option, but when i log on to the site on my mobile it doesn't work. I've activated it and published it but nothing.

I also have no menu on my accounts page for editing/creating my mobile site.

      Hi  herbieduo,

I checked your website 'http://www.herbieduo.com/' on a mobile device and did not experience any difficulties and could see the website perfectly.

Due to the newly developed and improved Wix Mobile Action Bar, creating new mobile sites (in the old version) is no longer available.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing difficulties.

      Hi jjgrisale5,

If you have already deleted the Wix Mobile site, it is not possible to add it again.

Please note that the Mobile Action Bar is new and we are working on improving our users' mobile experience. Your feedback is important in this process and appreciated!

    Hi how are you guys?

If I do not create a mobile site, my regular wix website will show up on smart phones? Is that right? because my regular website is more complete than any other mobile site that I can create.

I am doing well, thank you.

Wix HTML5 sites (All of your sites are currtnly HTML5) are accessible on all mobile devices. WixMobile sites are optimized for the action oriented nature of Mobile browsing. Wix Mobile provides a set of unique templates specifically designed for optimal display and performance on smartphones and mobile devices, they also support capabilities such as click to dial, click to SMS etc. So even though Wix HTML5 sites can be viewed everywhere, we still recommend taking the few minutes to create a WixMobile site to boost your visitors’ user experience.

In other words, why create only one when you can have both!

      Best regards

When i open my html 5 site in my iphone, the fonts keep changing in certain areas. I tried using shapes and attaching text to the shape to stop the misalignment but nothing seems to stop the text and shape from floating all over

Please provide us with a screen shot of the problem.

      To do so:

      1. Hold down the power button at the 'top' of the iPhone.

      2. While holding down the power button, quickly press the screen button at the bottom of the pad.

You can find step by step instructions here for how to upload a screenshot to the forum.

Please don't hesitate to contact us again. Nat

      Hey bijalthoda,

These are known issues that we are aware of with viewing full HTML sites on mobiles (especially Iphones). You can read more about these issues and keep up to date on fixes on this thread.

Please note that while Wix HTML sites can be viewed on smartphones, they are not fully compatible for their resolution and other factors which are unique to smartphones.

This is the reason that we recommend building a Wix Mobile site.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with further questions,

hi, Nest studio at www.neststudio.com.au has just created a Wix-mobile site, however when we publish the site and clicking on the link to browse it on our iphone and smart phones, it comes up with the following message:

Firefox can't find the server at m.neststudio.com.au.

We have checked and do not have any firewall restrictions.  We have also tried adding the suggested  mobile phone  html coding into the index page, but can not seem to access the html coding to add it.  Can you please advise us on how to access the behind the scenes coding or suggest any other solutions.

      Hi Neve,

Your pointing configuration in your registrar (not Wix, but your actual domain host) is incorrect.
To fix this, please follow the instructions here.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!
