Wix offers an amazing feature which takes your HTML site and automatically creates an optimized version for mobile view. You can then edit your Mobile site using the Mobile Editor.

To switch to the Mobile Editor, simply click the Mobile icon at the top left of your Editor. From here you can change the placement and size of your elements, hide elements from your mobile site, create a Mobile Action Bar and even change the style of certain elements, such as text.

I do not have a flash site, and my mobile site does not update when I update my web site. I thought every time I updated my website, it would automatically up date the mobile site into a .version' that I could edit. It has had many improvements so I cant go back and start again. Is there a button somewhere, which just automatically copies the current website version in html to mobile version?

For those who created a phone web site on the "old system", here is how to edit your phone web site.

    1.  Sign onto Wix,

    2.  Click "Manage Site"

    3.  On the right side of the page, there is a box headed, "Handy Shortcuts".

    4. Click on "Show More"

    5.  Click on "Edit Mobile"

    6.  Start Editing!!

Hi, for some reason my mobile site has disappeared and I can't find anywhere on this website to get it back- there seems to be no sign of this 'mobile editor' and I'd really like to get my site back online. Do I have to create an entirely new website, and if so is there a template which is similar to the one I'm using at the moment? Any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

I checked your Wix account and I saw you have two sites one is an HTML site and a Flash site.

May I ask to which site are you referring to?

Hi, after reading more comments on the support page I realised that if I wanted to have my mobile site up I would have to make another one from scratch. The Flash site is the old one and the HTML is the one I made yesterday. I now want to publish my new site and take my other one offline. Could you please tell me how to transfer my new layout to the Premium Plan I already pay for so I can get it online ASAP. Thanks Dina.

To switch your premium plan to another Wix site: Sign in to your Wix account > hover over Subscriptions > clickPremium Plans > under the relevant plan, click Transfer > select the new site > click OK.

Please make sure to assign your domain to your updated site. After transferring your plan, under Manage Premium, clickDomains > next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

Under Domain Connects To, click Change > select the relevant site > click Save.

For more information about transferring your plan to another site, click here.

I dont know if it is just me, but when i created my site i never saw the ability to have my site as a mobile site. Now that is available is it possible simply change my site so that it is available on mobile devices? every time i have tried, with my samsung s5 and sent my site link to a friend, we get a notification that it is a flash site, and the mobile devices do not support flash. So what i am asking in short is, do i have to use one of the new templates and start from the beginning of creating my site, so that i can let potential clients see my work on their mobile device?

Unfortunately, mobile sites are no longer available for Flash sites.

I suggest you take a look at the video posted at the top of this thread and create a new HTML5 site which can easily be optimized fro mobile devices.

Let us know how it went and if you require further assistance.
