1. If your domain is pointed to Wix by IP- Please contact your domain hosting company and ask them to remove the MX records that point to Wix.
2. If you are connected via Name Servers- Please ask your domain hosting company for the MX records and insert them here .
3. If you have purchased personalized emails from Wix, please follow the instructions here.

    wix team, 

    my MX records look correct but GoDaddy says our mx records are not sending emails back to them, therefore we cannot properly send or receive emails. the uploader won't let me add an image so what do i do?

      Are you referring to the domain jbirdbags.com? If so, please set the MX records to match your email service provider:

    Hi,

    My email server no longer working since yesteday, and i have contacted our email host, and they say all accounts has been transfer from magnolia server to dengar, and ask me to pin point it to 103.6.198.10

    i am not sure if i have done it correctly, and please help to check on this, and i no longer able to access to my Cpanel at all.

      Hi Lee, 

      Thanks for contacting Wix Support.

      Please note that anything related to your email settings should be checked with your email provider, as Wix is not your email provider and we just make sure email sent to your domain will reach your email host.
       
      Please contact your email hosting company ans ask them what records should be added to your domain in order to get your email up and running. 
      Please copy-paste their full reply to this thread and we will be happy to help you make the necessary changes.

    i have a problem connecting to my email. I have another company which manages my email. I have requested them to send me a screenshot of the MX record and have uploaded here?

      Hello,

       

      We are not sure all of the records in the image are relevant. Please ask your e-mail provider to sent you the exact list of records that need to be updated on our side.

    Mine isnt working either have already posted my comments on another forum - and please dont ask me to do all this 'mx stuff' and switching stuff around, it has been working fine for almost 2 months barr a few glictches - I joined wix for the simplicity - not because im a computer expert. lol i just know our contact form is not working, out of many test emails only one went to the wix newsfeed and none to the email. we only found out when the shop opened today via customer complaints - error messages are occuring - even when i try different emails to send our message too - and different browsers (chrome and mozilla). Some of our customers are older and only just getting into using websites for purchasing - they need to be able to get online, and contact us without complications like these as otherwise they order somewhere else and we lose the business.   Anyway just wanting to follow this thread as well. please get this resoved wix, it is quite distressing and worrying.

      We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your e-mails.

      We can see that your domain records were updated yesterday.

      Please allow 72 hours since the update, for the change to take effect.

      If the e-mails do not work in two days, please contact your e-mail provider and ask them if there are any additional records that need to be added.

    Here are the settings that you need to update with Wix, in order for your email to work again. When making these changes, it can take up to 24 hours for your email to begin working again, once you have made these changes.

     

    Let's get your mail going to the right place

    Before we can get your account up and running, you'll need to follow these steps to direct your mail to the right place forcollazofitness.com

    1.   Log on to your hosting provider or third-party domain name system manager (usually the same place you bought your domain)

    2.   Locate the CNAMEs and set the following:

      Please contact your email host and ask which records (usually A and MX records) should be added. Post their reply here and we will add the records for you. Alternatively, you could add them yourself by following the instructions here.

    I have a problem with the emails... when my followers send me an email from the regular page i receive them, but when somebody tries to send me an email from their cellphones the email never gets to my inboxe.. its like the persone never send it.... i need help with this issue please!!.. if somebody knows what im talking about please help me!.. Thank you!!!

    My email does not work

    When i check my domain it says it is connected properly, however when i Troubleshoot the domain it says the following

    Your Wix Domain configuration appears to be incorrect.
    To fix this, follow the instructions here

    ns2.wix.com

    it says both the 216.185.153.145 are incorrect BUT on my domain DNS records 216.185.153.145 is not there.

    Very confused. Please help.

      Hi,

       

      I can see that your domain mlct.org.uk is indeed properly connected to Wix using our Name Servers. Please note that it may take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate for all locations.

       

      If 72 hours have passed and the issue persists, please contact your email provider and ask for all the records that need to be updated in order to get your email up and running. Post it here and we will be happy to further assist.

      this is the response i got

      If you have changed the nameservers for that domain then the records will be managed at the registrar of those nameservers, in this case WIX. They will manage the MX records etc from there.!

      Hi markspringett,

       

      Please note that indeed the record should be added on Wix side, but your email host should provide us with the record itself, as we have no way of knowing what is it. 

       

      Please send a message to your Email host and ask them what records should be added to your domain in order to get your email up and running. Then simply forward us their reply and we will be happy to add the records for you. This process allows you to keep your email folders and simply redirect emails to your domain. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours when the records propagate and in that time emails will not reach your mailbox.
