Note: In order for the changes that you made in your editor to be published to your live website, you must click publish from the editor every time after you've saved your changes.

    I just published the site from the Wix template, but it still shows the old contents from another site builder (Yola.com)

    Can you please help me to figure out what's going on, i have pointed the domain to Wix two days ago.

      Your pointing configuration in your registrar (not Wix, but your actual domain host) is incorrect.
      To fix this, please follow the instructions here.

      Please note that your domain is still not properly connected to Wix. As you can see here your domain is not connected to the Wix's Name Servers (NS1.WIX.COM and NS2.WIX.COM) and is not pointing to a Wix IP address.


      Have you followed the steps in the link provided by Mascha? if you have, please let us know which connection method you have chosen and provide us with the steps that you have already taken.

    I'm a free user right now, but I plan on moving to a paid plan once my site is finished. I'm trying to show my site to a client of mine and it isn't loading. The address is http://hola749.wix.com/vidskipta and the problem I'm having is that I can see the site fine on my end, but it doesn't look like anyone else can.

      I could access your site and navigate between the pages without any issues, both on Chrome and Explorer.

      If this issue continues to occur, please provide us with further information:

      1. Has this happened to more than one computer.

      2. What browser was it.

      3. What browser version was it.

      I'm not sure what's going on if you can see it. My client cannot see it, but I can. I've also tried accessing it from different computers and it doesn't show. My browser is Chrome, and I'm sure my client is using Chrome as well. 

      I checked again and it looks like only the page title loads, nothing else. It's just blank. Is a plugin like Flash required? The site looks like jscript and css to me.

      I checked the site also and it loaded perfectly (on chrome) there is no need for any special plug in.

      Please clear your browser's cache and ask the client to do also then try again. You can find step by step instructions here.

    I am a free user and a first timer on your site. In your promise, you claim that after i publish my site i should be able to access it instantly. This is not happening. In fact i have tried over and over to get my site published, your information bar tells me it will be ready to access in a few seconds and nothing happens. Please assist and advise.

      Do you probably refer to your site being indexed in search results of search engines?

      I can see from our records that you published your Wix website yesterday for the first time.

      Please be aware that it can take from 1 to 3 months for Google to update its database and for your site to be indexed. Finding your site using your relevant keywords may take even more time.


      One way to speed up this process is to submit your website directly to search engines.

      You can submit your website directly to Google here.
      You can submit your website directly to Bing here.

      Wix guarantees that all of the text and meta tags on your site are being scanned by search engines, however we cannot guarantee that Google will choose to assign your website a high rank, this part is up to you.


      Make sure that your websites content has been optimized in accordance with the advice offered in our SEO Learning Center. We also recommend that you use the SEO Wizard & Monitoring tool for a more in depth analysis of your site’s SEO.

    Hi, I have connect my domain at domain.com to wix server, name server ns1.wix.com and ns2.wix.com. And i have publish my website www.superimba.com live. However, sometime the website works and sometime the website doesnt work. When it doesnt work, it will show "This site is currently under development". Please kindly advice why there's inconsistency in linking users to the website.

    Can someone have a look quick, why my site hasn't ben able to be live, as of yet?

      I  have checked your account and I could see you chose to connect your domain brazilworldcup2014.info via DNS (Which is great!) however, you have yet to configure your domain's NS servers to be designated to Wix.

      To connect a domain to a Wix site, we recommend connecting the name servers (NS) to Wix. This means that the domain is still located at the original host (where you purchased your domain name from), but the domain redirects to the Wix site. 
      When you connect your domain to Wix by nameservers, we can offer support and assist you in creating any DNS records you might need. 

      To solve this problem simply send your domain hosting company (where you purchased your domain name from) the following message:

      "I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their Name Servers - NS1.WIX.COM (IP address and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address"

      After sending your message, please allow up to 72 hours for changes to take effect (propagate).

      Here you can find your current NS records and also check if they have been updated.

    I've created a website with Wix and have connected my domain name (which i have at antagonist) But my website (www.pilatesmarlouk.nl) doesn't work. The people from antagonist are saying it's a problem with wix. Can you please help me? I really want my website online this weekend.
