Note: In order for the changes that you made in your editor to be published to your live website, you must click publish from the editor every time after you've saved your changes.

    It has been 3 days and my web site is till not on line for people to view, $140.00 is a lot of money to pay for something that we can not see on line. Can you help?

    I transferred my domain (www.marinorealestate.com) from GoDaddy a few days ago, pulished on Wix, and still no sign of it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

      Hi,

       

      To which domain are you referring to?

      Did you respond to the domain transfer email?

      you'll receive an email from support@wix.com, asking you to confirm your transfer request. 

       

      Check your admin email according to who.is 

      The subject of the email is "DOMAIN NAME TRANSFER - Initial Authorization for Registrar". You must open this email (check your spam folder) and click Confirm within 5 days after the transfer request. If you do not confirm the email, the transfer process cannot be completed.

      It may take up to seven days for the Registry to approve your transfer.

      Hi,

      I can see that your transfer is still pending for approval. Please make sure to confirm our confirmation email.

      In the meantime - your pointing configuration in your registrar (not Wix, but your actual domain host) is incorrect for. If your registrar is Godaddy click here, otherwise here

      I have already confirmed... I get this messaeg if I try and confirm again:

      "A response to the transfer request has already been recorded for domain marinorealestate.com. You can no longer use this web addresss (URI) to respond to the transfer request. This may be due the request was already answered or request has expired. Current Status : TransferPending - Updated On 24-Apr-2014 02:54:50

      If you think this is an error, please contact our support team"

       

      Can you confirm that I have done everything I need to do to execute this transfer? Thank you!

      Hi,

      Please also check if your domain privacy registration set to public.

      If the domain privacy status set to ' Private ' , please contact your domain host and ask them to turn off the privacy registration.

      I can now find it by typing in the site address, but it's not on a google search. How long will this take?

      Hi,

       

      I can see that you have upgraded and launched your site just yesterday.

      Please be aware that it can take anywhere from 1 – 3 months for your site to be crawled and indexed in order to appear in search engines such as Google or Yahoo. This waiting period is the same for all websites, not just those created using Wix.

       

      To see if Google has indexed your website, as well as the last time this happened i.e. to see a cached version of your website, enter your website’s URL with the word cache: before it in the Google search. For example: cache:www.mydomain.com If your website comes up, this means Google has already indexed it.

       

      Remember, if your website has not been crawled and it has been less than 3 months since publishing, don’t worry – give it a little time and try again.

      Alternatively, you can help speed up this process by submitting your website to search engines directly.

    Hello Wix, I am a new user and I edited my site via Explorer 11 and I try repeatedly to Publish but it doesn't I am afraid to close the browser so I will not loose all my work. What do I do????

      Please note that if you saved your site but have not published it yet, the changes will be saved. So you will not loose your work. 

      Please elaborate on the problem you are having while working with IE. Have you received any errors? If the answer is yes, please provide us a screen shot with the given error.
