If you use your own domain and have already upgraded, you will see your Wix site.

Please be patient,  connecting your domain might take up to 72 hours.

 

Note: In order for the changes that you made in your editor to be published to your live website, you must click publish from the editor every time after you've saved your changes.

    I published my site last week and it's still not live. Am I doing something wrong?

    I have updated my domain hosting site, do I need to do anything on WIX end to get my site live as SOON as possible? I don't want to wait 3 days then realize I needed to do something else.

      To fix this, please send your domain hosting company the following message:

      I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their name servers- NS1.WIX.COM (IP address 216.139.213.90) and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address 95.211.144.195).

       

      After sending your message, please allow up to 72 hours for changes to get updated (propagate).

       

      Feel free to contact us should you need any further assistance.

    I have tried publishing my website a bunch of times.. Every time I go to check my website, it tells me "Coming Soon - Future Home of Something Quite Cool". Then it asks me to login if I am the owner to a website called cms.websitetonight.com to launch my website... It doesn't look trustworthy.

      The domain name you entered is not connected to Wix’s nameservers and is not pointing to Wix’s IP address.

      To connect your domain to our name servers:

    I can't find my site at all on Google.  It has been published for over a week now.

      I can see from our records that you published your Wix website on 7/10/14.

       

      Please be aware that it can take from 1 to 3 months for Google to update its database and for your site to be indexed. Finding your site using your relevant keywords may take even more time.

       

      One way to speed up this process is to submit your website directly to search engines.

      You can submit your website directly to Google here.
      You can submit your website directly to Bing here.
       

      Wix guarantees that all of the text and meta tags on your site are being scanned by search engines, however we cannot guarantee that Google will choose to assign your website a high rank, this part is up to you.

       

      Make sure that your websites content has been optimized in accordance with the advice offered in our SEO Learning Center. We also recommend that you use the SEO Wizard & Monitoring tool for a more in depth analysis of your site’s SEO.

    Hi,

    I seem to be having a small problem! I have published my site and only the first page is visible online, This seems to happen every time i publish. Yes i published each page, No i can't see them even after 72 hours which is annoying to say the least as i am redirecting people via my yell account and facebook and the feedback i am getting is that i have 1 page and not the 5 i expected to have??

      Thank you for choosing Wix!

       

      Please note that the reason you're not able to view the other pages on your love site is because you didn't create a navigation bar (menu to your site). Please add a menu to your site so that users will be able to navigate through your pages. 

       

      To add a menu: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Buttons & Menus > click Menu > drag the menu into place and resize it accordingly.

       
      Note: To change how your pages' names appear on the menu, you must change the page names from Pages (click the Page icon from the left side of the Editor).

    Hi, 

    I've just published my site (www.theadvocatesclub.co.uk) and it was showing before when I typed it into the address bar but now it doesn't. I've reset my DNS and followed the instructions to make sure everything is connected and ready to go live via my domain. Have I done everything right and is it just a matter of waiting for the three days to see?

      Please note that your domain is not connected to Wix yet. Please make sure you let 72 hours to pass for the changes to fully propagate.

    Hi,

    I am having a bit of a problem and I hope you can help? I believe I just published our new Wix Premium web site using our domain FruityWipes.com which is held by GoDaddy. I understand it can take a few days to go live. How can I tell if I did everything right and just have to wait. I dont want to waste 3 days and the find out I needed to call GoDaddy or I should of did something else? Please advise if possible.

      1) Go here and click on "Delete all sites". Then clear your browser's cache.

      For step-by-step instructions about how to clear your browser's cache, please follow this link.
      You can also find a video tutorial here.

      2) Try to Flush your DNS. For detailed instructions on how to do so please go here.

      3) Please go to the Windows start menu->click on 'run'-> select the first option: 'Run'-> type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      For Mac users: Go to ‘Application’ then open ‘Terminal’ and type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      -If you receive an IP address on your computer other than the IP you see here and you see this IP from other computers please contact an IT expert in your area for further troubleshooting.

      -If you receive a different IP than the IP you see here from multiple locations, please send it to us in order for us to check it.
