As HTML 5 is the new dog in town so to speak, there are compatibility issues with HTML 5 and older browsers, which means that HTML 5 websites are unviewable to a large percentage of visitors.
For example, only the menu bar on my website can be seen by almost any other person apart from me, so it appears.
If this is due to old browsers, can Wix look at a way of intergrating a message stating that they need to update their browser to view the full site?

Unfortunately, the exporter is still not the recommended way to switch over to HTML.
While the Flash Editor is currently richer in features, the HTML5 Editor is expanding rapidly and new features are added each passing day.
I've looked at your site and I'm happy to let you know that most, if not all your site can be built using our HTML5 Editor.
I recommend you work in the following way:
Open a new blank HTML5 template and your current site's Editor, and start adding pages, building the layout for your new site.
Afterwards, you can add content page after page.
Finally, you would be able to 'switch' your premium package and domain connection over to the new site.Elia - Wix Support

Hi Its me again, I posted several questions above and forgot to mention that I have a premium account and that my site is www.tessabeligue.com so just wanted to give you that info in hopes that you can best answer my questions.
Also, I wanted to add another question for WIX SUPPORT: could you please take a look at my website and tell me which components of my flash site I would not be able to replicate if I switched to HTML5?

I would like to transfer my wix flash page to HTML5 but am scared to do it because of all the problems I keep hearing about. The last messages posted by Wix about their "experimental" Flash to HTML5 transferring system was in April saying "Please note that we currently stopped exporting sites as we are testing the exporter. You can still submit your site and we will export your site as as soon as we can."
Does anyone know if they have resumed exporting sites, and whether it is working any better?
Secondly, I was wondering if anyone has a copy of their Flash AND HTML5 site to look at so I could see the differences.
Thirdly, for all of you who transferred from Flash to HTML5, I wanted to ask you, how do the 2 editors compare? Which has more options? Are there any benefits to HTML5?
Also, if I transfer my page from Flash to HTML5, will I use the template I am using in Flash?

hey guys a couple of issues i seem to have come across. Sometimes when creating a link, after publishing the link is created with a blue underlining, adn some time it's not. Both circled are active links however one does not have a blue underline. See image:
Another minor issue i have come across is that on the page setup screen, you can not drag the description box even though when you mouse over the corner it will show you the option to. Circled in red. See image.
thanks guys, keep up the good work, my premium html site is getting me nice amounts of business!

I am familiar with the HTML widgets, but I mean what if I want to use HTML for the ENTIRE site?
Anyway of implementing a system like Frontpage or Dreamweaver has where you can drag and drop or edit with HTML code?Jerrid J Foiles President/Founder/CEO Foil-Wrapped Productions http://www.foilwrappedproductions.com
