The HTML templates are lame. Where is the exquisite design that we are used to from WIX? Are we to be relegated to WordPress style square boxes? What about the cool page widgets?

    Is this all you got?

Further to my last post - the issue with the manual crop of images seems to be only an issue with the galleries not individual images.

A work around to the issue I had with selective menus is to use buttons instead of menus altogether - seems to work but a bit less user-friendly.

bear in mind the the current version is just the first version and in time the HTML5 editor will have all the capabilities that the  Flash editor has to offer.

the Tile option like many other options and functions will be added in our next version releases.

Please feel free to add this item to our Wishlist

    Thank you for your feedback.

I have been eagerly awaiting the HTML editor so here is my initial feedback based on a quick play around with it.

Firstly, overall it seems pretty good and I am impressed. However, the glaring feature which is missing is the lack of 'Undo' and 'Redo' abilities.

I also miss the 'manual crop' feature for images which was in the flash version, as in html you only seem to have the option for 'automatic crop' or 'fit to size' -  does this mean I will have to crop all my images to the exact right size in another image editing program before uploading?

Another feature which was in the Flash editor is the ability to choose which pages show in different menus. In html it appears you can only select a page as either showing or not - this is a pretty awful glitch as there are several pages I would put in one menu at the bottom of the site and completely different pages in a menu at the top.

I understand E-Commerce is on its way - the sooner the better please!

Finally, there are couple of new features I would have loved to have seen appear as they would now be possible in html which are a search box function and drop down menus.

Keep up the good work Wix!

With these new templates, you will be creating a completely new website that is based on HTML5 and not Flash - for now your Flash created website cannot be converted to HTML5.

You need to think of them as separate entities - your Flash website will stay as it is for now, but we are now offering the option to create a new website that is based on HTML5.

For those of us who made separate master pages, do we have to transfer them back as one master page with multiple pages to take advantage of HTML5?
