You can easily add HTML code to your Wix site:

    1. From the left toolbar, click Add.

    2. From the Add list, click Apps. Click HTML.

    3. From the HTML Settings window, under Mode, click the drop-down menu and select HTML code

    4. Under HTML/embed code, type or paste your HTML code.

    5. Click Update.

    6. Click outside of the HTML Add on to close the HTML Settings window.

Please disregard my question above about the Base Line, Copyright, etc., as I found the "footer". That's solved.

WIX, another question please: At present, the website address is my name dot wix dot com slash icafrica. How do I disassociate myself from the published site, because as this is a political website, I do not want my name as the public URL.

Question: The Base Line, Copyright, Webmaster Login, Twitter/FB links, scroll up while scrolling down through text. How can I fix these "footer items" to the base of the page so that they are always visible but always at the footer of the documents? I don't want them to scroll up because they interfere with the text of the document(s).

-May we ask for your time in sending us specific details as to the nature of the difficulties you are experiencing?
-Please provide us with a detailed outline of the steps you have taken until this point, so we may replicate the process from our end in finding a solution.
-Where do you see it on your site, i.e. what page?
-What component in the editor is causing the problem (i.e. text box)?

*Please include screen shots, if possible.

Thank you for your cooperation and we await your reply.

Have you clicked 'Update' after pasting the code? (it is located below the text box)

. Where I have gone into my WIX website, selecting the page on which I want to add a video I   have gone to :add > apps >HTML------- Now this is where I am hitting a snag. When I click on "HTML" the box appears BUT on the sidebar where I am making this choice  the sidebar should change to " HTML Settings" and there, under "mode", one should able to choose "HTML" then go to the "HTML  box"  below that and paste in the appropiate HTML code.

What is happening with my computer when trying to do this, is that the sidebar does NOT change but remains on "apps" so that the "mode" selection (that should come up on the sidebar) does not do so.

Also, While dealing with the differences, I am unable to change the colour of  the TITLE of that page from black to red despite going through "edit text" Can you assist me?

    Hey lbcolby2 ,

I see in your editor that you made changes that you didn't published yet.

Nevertheless, I saw in your editor that you might want to remove this text box ( can cause display problem on your live site):

Let us know when you'll publish the version of your editor if you are still experiencing problems on different browsers.

    Have a great day,
