    I have trouble to upload pictures (about 100kB) true the HTML5 Editor for some weeks already. No matter I use Safari, Chrome or Firefox I always receive upload failed. I also tried changing the image format but no luck. The issue occurs also independent off the network I am using. 

    Please help!

      Hi,

      In most cases, upload issues are related to a local misconfiguration of certain settings on your computer, or to your internet connection.

      Please follow these steps in order to troubleshoot the issue you're experiencing:

      1. Try uploading other images. Is this issue isolated to specific images? If so, please email us the problematic images.
      2. Make sure the file name does not contain any special characters.
      3. Clear your browser's cache of "Everything". 
      4. Log out of your Wix account, restart your browser and then log into your Wix account and try again.
      5. Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and either IE or Safari (depending on whether you use a PC or a MAC).
      6. If you connect to the internet through a router, please try connecting directly through the modem.
      7. Try temporarily disabling your internet security programs and try again (i.e. antivirus, firewall, etc.). It is preferable to try this while still connected to the modem directly. This is meant to assist us in determining the source of the problem that you're facing.
      8. Try connecting to Wix from a different computer that uses a different internet connection.

      Finally, if you are still having issues, please contact us. Let us know exactly which steps you tried and what worked or didn't work. Please also include the following information:

      1. What Operating System you're using (i.e. Mac OSX, Windows XP, etc.) - and what version it is.
      2. What browsers you've tried - and include the version of the browser (can generally be found by going to Help > About within the browser).
      3. What version of Flash you have installed on your computer- you can find this at whatismyflash.com
      4. Your Wix username and the name of the site(s) with the issue.
      5. If you receive an error message, please attach the error message that you receive.
      6. Your geographic location and which ISP you use.
      7. Which internet security programs you have installed on your computer (antivirus, firewall, etc.).

    Hi,

    Why only a 10mb limit on pic uploads, I was considering upgrading but not so sure now.... The pics are my wife's art work and some of them are 17mb. i know I could compress them but I would not want the loose quality.

      Hi,

      The 10mb limit on images is so that users will be able to load your site quickly.

      If you upload 17mb images and bigger, your site will load very very slowly even on high-speed connections.

      This is not recommended in site-building.

      If you are interested in offering users the original 17mb image, simply upload it to DropBox and create a link to it or embed it using the Dropbox app in our App Market.

    Hi Wix Team,

    So far I'm having trouble uploading a certain image.  It's only 78kb and dimensions are 400x300 like the other 3 I uploaded.  Here's a screen shot. You can see the files I'm trying to upload are highlighted in blue.  Is the cue just taking longer?

    I am having the same issue i am on a mac used Chrome, Safari and firefox, i have the latest flash, cleared all cashe password etc used a different pc (Windows) even tried a different internet connection.

     

    I have no antivirus or monitoring tools installed and disabled all addons.

      All images i have changed them to .gif, .jpeg and .png made no difference. I have three websites with you and even went to the extent of creating a totally new account...No Good

      This is not working on all images and all three of my sites

      This might occur because of some network or temporary issue. Please try using a different network connection, or provide us with the images and we'll be happy to upload them for you. You can use a Dropbox folder to share your images with us, or any other file-sharing service.

    Uploading Pictures

    This site will not let me upload my own pictures. There is no easy way to upload my own pictures from my computer. Please help.

    "Storage service could not be reached" גם אני עם אותה בעיה

    עברתי על כל השלבים וניסיתי הכל חוץ מהשימוש במחשב אחר או ברשת אחרת שאין לי כרגע... מה אפשר לעשות???

    היי יש מצב שיענו לי בעברית? לפי השמות של המגיבים פה נראה שיש כאן חבר'ה ישראלים.. (וסליחה על ה"וולגריות" הישראלית שבעצם הבקשה.. אני לא חזק באנגלית וזה בא ממקום של מצוקה ולא  "חוצפה"). בכל אופן , אני לא מצליח :להעלות תמונות חדשות לאתר שלי. ועולה  ההודעה

    "Storage service could not be reached"

     ניסיתי לפענח את התשובות של אנשי הצוות ואף ניקיתי את ההיסטוריה מהכרום שלי. אבל עדיין זה לא צולח. כמובן שהקפדתי על סוג הקובץ ועל גודלו. אשמח אם מישהו ידידותי יעזור לי בזה כיוון שאני צריך להעלות משימות לתלמידים עוד השבוע.

      זה קורה עם כל תמונה שאתה מנסה להעלות?

      אם כבר ניסית לנקות את ההיסטוריה מהדפדפן, אנא נסה את הצעדים הבאים:

      - השתמש בדפדפן אחר (כמו פיירפוקס או אקספלורר 9 ומעלה).

      - נסה להשתמש במחשב אחר המחובר לרשת אחרת.

      - נסה להתחבר ישירות למודם ולא דרך הראוטר.

      - נסה לכבות את האנטיוירוס/פיירוול שלך.

      - נסה להדליק ולכבות את המחשב.

       

      אם כל הצעדים הללו לא עובדים, בבקשה כתוב לנו שוב.

      במקרה כזה, שלח לנו גם את התמונה שאתה מנסה להעלות, כדי שנבדוק אותה בצד שלנו.

    Hi I am struggling to upload images. I get this error message: "Storage service could not be reached"
