    Can't upload anything to the site. Documents or pictures. Using Chrome. Right sized files. Tried uploading from cloud services (dropbox). Tried uploading from computer. IMac 2012 model, Macbook Air 2010 model. Clean cache. I'm stumped...

    Need to upload proprietary images and documents for review and signing by clients.

    Cant Upload pictures

    Images wont upload

    I have been trying to add my own images to my website for many hours and they don't seem to want to come up. They are the correct size (under 10mb) and they are .jpg. I have tried what the other posts recommend and they still don't want to upload.

    Everything works up until I am waiting for the photo to go my images. Basically I click into "upload images" select the image I would like to upload press open - it then takes you back to the editor where you images are and nothing happens! Can you please help! Thanks Rebecca

      I have tried that! My picture is under 10mb and they are .jpg, everything work up until I select the image from my documents and press open it then goes back to the screen where the was when you add the photos and my photos are no where to be seen! Please help! Thanks Rebecca

      Are you experiencing this problem with a specific image? Also, are you getting any kind of error message?

      While browsing on the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict. Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

    I am not able to upload documents to website. What's going on?  I noticed that I'm not the only one having difficulty. My clients look up to my speedy service. This is making me look bad..

    I just spent the last 4 hours uploading pictures no problem but then the FREE Wix Site shut down losing all my work.

    I have tried everything this thread has said. I cleared everything, used different browsers, made sure the photos were the right size, and nothing is working. I am getting very frustrated and I would like some assistance immediately. How am I supposed to run a photography website if I cannot upload an image

      Are you getting an error? What happens when you try to upload a picture? Is this happening to a specific file only? Please try to elaborate as much as you can so we can understand the cause of this.

    There is no browse file ability to retrieve images in desktop files to upload to website builder. Why is everyone having this difficulty? Better go to WEBS.

    Better yet - when I get an email notice my question has been responded to and it directs me to "click HERE"   there is no HERE.  My question and the later replies etc are not accessible.

    And annoyingly enough, even though I stated in my question that I had performed ALL of the recommendations by the Wix Team - they asked me in the response if I had tried other browsers etc.  Why?  Why do I have to try other browsers when the one I'm using (IE ver 11) is supposedly the one that solved other people's problems?  Well ONE person's problem.  Can they not see from all of the postings that it's not the users, it's the software?

      I solved the problem by doing the following:  Changed from a FREE site to an Ecommerce one - amazingly, NO issues uploading pictures in the Ecommerce site.   Once I got all my pictures loaded, I deleted the site, then went the Free one I wanted in the first place.

    Hello I am able to upload images, but its horribly slow almost a torture to do so. I know there is a limit in size, so I try to keep it at 3 or four images at a time. Each time I do this, it takes forever, and sometimes they just stay in the upload tray and never do a frigging thing. I have to redo it, and upload one or two less. As I type, I have four in the tray that have been there with a loaded bar now for almost 20 minutes.

    this is really unacceptable, what can I do to make this better. My browser, computer, and internet connections are all fine. the issue is with your site. Please feel free to check out my site and see if I am doing anything wrong. I really need to resolve this, as my site is a picture site.

      Thank you for contacting Wix support! I entered your editor using Google Chrome and was unable to recreate your matter when trying to upload images. I uploaded 10 images at a time on different pages and the upload time was fast. You can take a look at my work below: I recommend you to clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.
      Also, please make sure that the browser you are using is not outdated. If so, please update your browser to the latest version available. 

      If you are continuing to face difficulties, please try uploading images using another browser to see if it helps you solving your matter.

      Also, please make sure that the images are in a format we currently support (.jpg, .png, and .gif) as well as no more than 10MB.

      Thank you for your reply, I did do these things. It still is a pain. Don't get me wrong, overall I am very happy with my new site, but my old host, albeit not as presentable as this one, allowed me to upload large bulks of images at a time, very fast. The resolution I believe is not as good, but still the results were very fast. Nothing has changed on my system other than I am now using your service.

      My issue now is this, I choose three or four images to upload. It takes me to the upload tray. They stay there for a bit and finally jog down to the folder I am downloading them to. However, sometimes, if I do too many say four or five, it just sits there with a full (loaded bar) and never does a thing. I went to watch a movie, came back and it was still there no change. I then have to go back and do it again with less images...say 3 instead of four.

      When you have 30+ images to upload to a folder....this is total torture.

      I can completely understand your frustration, I apologize for the inconvenience. 

      I noticed you're currently using IE10 as your browser. I highly recommend that you try using a different browser (Chrome is recommended). Chrome is a much faster and more stable browser than IE, and I believe it may help you get better results with uploading files to your site. Firefox is also a good alternative.

      Thanks Chrome did it. Still slow, but that's my internet connection. Ill be making Chrome my default, it solved this, and a couple other issues I was having (not related to this). Thanks for your quick replies.

    I cannot upload my own image. I have been trying this since one week but once you upload the image from your local desktop and then click it to select, it does nothing. Can you fix this, please ?
