    Hello, My website's speed grade is an 80/100 as per Google but they said that
    "Your page has 8 blocking script resources and 5 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page."

    I really need this fixed but I don't know how. 

    Also, these same errors give the mobile site a 47/100 which is unacceptable. 

    Please help?

      I have checked your site using a speed test, the results of which can be seen here. Your site received a score of A in all criteria.

       

      Please note that it is not possible to access the CSS code of your site. The CSS code of your site is updated when clicking the Publish button in the editor.

       
      Many of the CSS changes that you would like to make, can be made by updating the content within the editor.

      If the changes that you require cannot be made from within the Editor, please let us know what they are by posting in this thread.

      I understand that I cannot access the Css code. I need assistance with the specific content that is keeping the site from loading optimally.  That your website grade is an A is not helpful if Google give me an 80 for the site and a 47 for the mobile site. 

      Here is a list of the specific issues. How do we resolve them?

      Is there someone I can talk to? 
      The owner of Ariel won't go live with the site (or upgrade this site) until these issues are resolved -- we have press releases and an email campaign waiting on it.

    Hi, the website I'm currently working on takes too long to load. According to the webpagetest there's a problem with the FBT of the website.

      Hi, 

      Speed issues can be related to the test server itself, it's GEO location and more parameters such as ISP, traffic congestion etc.

      Here is a speedtest for your site.

      As you can see from the results, your site took 17.887s fully load, making 174 requests and downloading 5.020 KB of content.

      I recommend trying to optimize your site. (If you wish to experiment with it, you can have your site duplicated.)

      My suggestions are to try to add a landing page to your Wix siteOptimizing your images, and reduce the amount of content at your homepage (add more pages as necessary to complete your visitors experience with your website).

      Also, your site received a score of 'F' for progressive .jpegs.


      To rectify this, you will need to save your images in progressive .jpeg format. If you are using Gimp to improve your image quality, you will be able to make these changes in the Advanced Options section.

      Hi Rony,

      Thank you for your quick reply. I understand your explanation and the fact that the site can be optimized in a few ways, but how is it possible that when I run the webpagetest from different locations and with different providers the FBT value stays 'D' or even lower (F). The site is in a developing stage so there's hardly any traffic yet.

      Hi,

       

      There are two main factors that affect the loading time: 

      1. The size of your website 

      2. The Internet connection that you have through your ISP 

       

      Since we cannot do anything to help your site regarding factor 2, your main goal should be optimizing your site's size.

       

      I see that you have a lot of heavy content on your pages, heavy content are elements such as galleries, video's, HTML coding etc. these will cause longer load times.

       

      To ensure that you maintain the quality of your photos and decrease loading time to a minimum, please follow the guidelines  here .

       

      Also please note that each page in your site is loaded separately so that if you have large amounts of media in your site it is recommended to spread it on different pages and not all on one page.

    FIRST BYTE TIME PROBLEMS... yall need to come up with a better way than to load all the necessary scripts for all the pages at once at the onset of loading of ANY page... this is not cool

    Dear Wix Support,

    I do not pay full price this month for sites www.menstruacevpohode.cz and www.menstruacnykalisokluna.sk.
    Get me 50 % off as satisfacktion.

    As user "gmbwawebsite" wrote, 3000 posts and Wix support tell us, that performance of our sites are OK. There are NOT. At it is long lasting problem, but in last weeks it is much worse! It is not all the time, it is for an hour bad, than good. It cost as so much money, because sells are dramaticlly lower, if slow speed of sites.

    If it not be fully solve until end of month, we will move our sites from Wix.

    I CALL ALL USERS WITH PROBLEMS, be hard on Wix support, want discount. We have to push or there will not be reaction!

    איטיות בעליית האתר

    היי יש לי אתר שבניתי במערכת שלכם , המערכת ממש טובה ועובדת מצויין אך ישנה בעייה בעליית האתר ברשת האינטרנט , הוא עולה מאד לאט , רציתי לדעת מה הסיבה לכך ואם יש אפשרות לתקן זאת .

      I have also run a speed test on your site, whose results are available here.

      I have not been able to recreate the issue, though in case you wish to rectify this, you can compress the images in your site.

    Hi, I am have had a few people mention to me how slow my website is to load. I've deleted any images/pages that are not needed. Is there a way you can see what would be causing this slow speed? http://www.alluringdesigns.com.au

      Hi,

       

      I've ran your site through webpagetest (results) and it scored 6 seconds, which is a good score!

       

      Improving performance is very important to us at Wix!
      We have recently made many changes that should improve the performance and loading time of your site.

       

      If you are still experiencing performance issues on your site, it may be because of one of the following factors:

       

      - The speed of your own connection or an overload at your ISP during peak hours
      - The amount of content on your site or home page
      -  A large number of animations and/or animated behaviors/effects on your site
      - Very large MP3 files which load on your home page
      - A slower computer (i.e. with a slow processor or low RAM) which may load the site slowly, as it cannot process the information quickly enough.

       

      In order to optimize your site for speed, try to follow these guidelines:

      - Don't use too many animations on your homepage
      - Try to use a uniform font for your site (1-3 fonts)
      - If you decide to use an MP3 on your homepage, try to use a smaller file.
      - If you use many shapes and components in the editor to create a larger image, it would be best to create a single image, with these elements, on your computer and then upload it to Wix.

    Almost 3,000 posts and Wix doesn't think there is a problem with load time. Been like this for years and they do nothing about it but answer the same old way.

      Analyzing your test results I have one main suggestion to help you make your site load faster.

       

      The images on your site are not fully optimized for the web.

       

      Please take down the images you have placed on your site and convert them to .jpeg files, this will compress the size of your images by more than half and will allow your site to load faster.

      I ran a test on your site's loading speed. It seems to load very fast: 3.059s, as you can see here.

      Is there a specific page on your site that takes time to load?

      To improve your site's loading time, please consider moving some of the images, or the slideshow itself, to a different page. This will make the homepage lighter and quicker to load.
