My site seems to load slow.  Any suggestions.  I've optimized my graphics as instructed by Wix.  I've run a diagnostic test as instructed:

    For IE9:

      Hey,

We recommend using PNG files as these file formats help maintain the quality of the image during compression.

To ensure that you maintain the quality of your photos using the PNG format and decrease loading time to a minimum, please follow the guidelines  here .

Also, auto-playing galleries will cause longer load time.

I also recommend distributing most of the content to other pages or
      creating a "light" landing page.

Be aware that the performance of your HTML5 site is affected by a number of factors, including the size of your website and amount of content on it, your internet connection speed, and your browser version. Using the most updated browser version and ensuring that your internet connection is stable and running at a high speed will help ensure that you are viewing your site in optimal conditions.

Please let us know should you require any further assistance.

Slow loading time.. this is hurting my conversion rates

I don't mind paying more for a faster load time.

      Hi,

      Thanks for contacting us.

Please note your site fully loads in 7.2 seconds, this is still considered normal loading times. You can however improve loading times by adjusting the images on your site for faster loading times. However, please note this might improve by 1-2 seconds.

You can read here more about the Progressive JPEGS test which your site seems to be failing. And you can use this site to compress the size of your images. This is just an example, you can use other web sites or preferably software like Photoshop to achieve this.

Let us know should you require any further assistance,

      - Daniel M, Wix team.

    Hi there WIX,

I am from Singapore and have been experiencing very laggy uploading of the website and pages. I have run a test using webpageTest and the loading time reports says it takes 38.614s for the first time.

Could this be that the different timezone and the servers hosting the website is not optimize?

    www.tsc-snailcream.com

    Please advise.

      Hi,

Please note your sites loading times should have nothing to do with time zones.

Here is your sites loading times as experienced from the US. Please attach a link to your speed test so we can have a look. Furthermore, I've tried accessing your site from Israel, and it loads in seconds. When you access your site, do you experience more than 10 seconds for the page to load?

      Awaiting your reply,

      - Daniel M, Wix team.

      Hey,

The test you've sent us was not successful so I ran another test to be able to analyze your site's performance, you can review the test's results here

Looking into the results and going over your site I have one main recommendation to improve your site's loading speed.

I noticed that you have placed a lot of content on your homepage, this directly effects the response rate of your homepage and hence your entire site.
I warmly recommend distributing most of the content to other pages or creating a "light" landing page.

Let us know should you require further assistance.

All the best, Dean - Wix Team

      Hey,

I have checked your site and it fully uploaded in few seconds!

I've also run your site through a third party speed test and here are the results. Viewing the results I can see that you got a great score!

I can see that your site failed the progressive JPEG's test. Please follow this link providing you with steps on how to deal with this issue.

In general, please note the performance of your HTML5 site is affected by a number of factors, including the size of your website and amount of content on it, your internet connection speed and your browser version. Using the most updated browser version and ensuring that your internet connection is stable and running at a high speed will help ensure that you are viewing your site in optimal conditions.

For best performance, it is recommended to follow these guidelines:

      1. Optimizing the images on your site will have great affect on its performance and loading time. For tips on adding images to ensure they take up as little space as possible, please click here.

      2. Distribute your content on several pages. This will improve loading times and overall load.

      3. Fonts take up a lot of CPU power and loading time. Please try not to use more then 2 fonts on a single page. Fonts in plain, bold, italic, bold & italic are all considered to be different fonts! The best solution would be to use browser text and not simple text

Should you require further assistance, please don't hesitate.

      Thanks, Rony Customer Solutions

Please note that the domain you have mentioned is inscribed under another user.

Kindly review the WebPageTest output in regard to your site. You may want to compress some of your images.

You can compress pictures in almost any photo program, save as internet web size. You should save your photo in the size you want it to be viewed. You can use a program like adobe photoshop. Also, make sure your photo is in RGB color mode and not CMYK- you can also check this in adobe photoshop by clicking on image> image mode. This will ensure that your photo is shown in the best quality possible in Wix.

The first time byte received an "F".  I am using one of your templates while I am making my site, I am worried that if a basic site loads slow how can a site with a lot of features and content load fast?  This will not work for me, if you cannot fix this then I might have to go to one of your competitors.

Please compress some of your images to make your site's volume a bit more redundant and improve loading times.
