    I am having an issue with internet browsers not loading my site. It will load from my tablet on chrome, but not from my laptop. My husband tried accessing my website from his computer at his workplace which is a desktop and he is not able to load it either. He was using chrome and I have tried several browsers. All I get is a blank page. I have cleared cookies and browsing history and have tried to ensure nothing is being blocked. It was able to bring up my webpage on Friday, but today nothing. My website is www.illuminatedyouconsulting.com. I am not getting any error messages. Just a blank white page.

      I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this issue on my end as you can see in the screenshot below:

      Please try the following steps to make sure that your issue is not a local one:
      1. Open your browser to a blank page. Close any Wix pages that are open.
      2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies of "Everything". You can find step-by-step instructions here.
      3. Restart your browser and then log into your Wix account and try again. 
      4. Try using an anonymous browsing window and see if it helps:
      With Chrome, use the CTRL + SHIFT + N keyboard shortcut.
      With Firefox, use the CTRL + SHIFT + P keyboard shortcut.
      5. Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and either IE or Safari (depending on whether you use a PC or a MAC).
      6. Try disabling your internet security programs and try again (i.e. antivirus, firewall, etc.). 
      This is meant to assist us in determining the source of the problem that you're facing.
      7. Try connecting to Wix from a different computer that uses a different network to connect to the internet. Please also make sure that Wix is not blocked - you can contact the IT team and ask them to add Wix to the whitelist (at work).

      Thank you for your response Alina. I have gone through the list that you gave me and ensured I did everything you listed exactly as you listed it. I am still having issues. I am unable to access my editor to make any changes or view my site through my wix account either. I will continue to try.  Thanks.

      Just so everyone knows, after days of frustration with not being able to view or edit my website through any browser on my own computer and having tried all the steps suggested above I refreshed my computer. I have windows 8 and after days of trying absolutely everything else, I decided that if I lost a few apps, I would be okay. I have lost a few apps, but at last I can view my website and edit it through any browser!

    I have experienced a similar issue as Paul , above. Same error message for my site www.ricmorgan.net, and an absent website. Correct domain, and no luck via other browsers or platforms. Cache cleared. Please help restore my site. Regards, Ric Morgan

    Hi, I've been receiving the following error message although my website was published, live and functioning up to a month ago:
    Something went wrong...
    The page you tried to access does not exist on our server.
    For now, you may want to visit our site's homepage.

    I've checked my account and my site still exists including the option to publish live.  I've done this again, and still no website.

    Please verify on your end, what is the recurring problem preventing my website from being live.

      I've also noticed that you are not using the most updated version of Internet Explorer. This might be the reason for this issue.

      When Internet Explorer updates its browser, does wix automatically no longer support the previous version?

      Considering I was able to access site online and still can edit online, but can no longer see my published site unless I update the browser, is it therefore wix's practice to no longer support sites that do not upgrade to the latest browser?

      This is important as users of my site may not all have the latest browser uploaded and do not receive a message from the site to update browser.  The only message is the usual error message, something went wrong etc....and users are redirected to wix.com.

      Disappointed users may think my site is down for maintenance or has been removed, rather than a browser compatibility issue.

      Can wix support earlier browsers in recent past?  This can make the difference in upgrading as a paid subscriber.  Webs.com does not have this issue.

      Please note that Wix is compatible with Internet Explorer (version 9 and above), Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

      We keep supporting previous versions of browsers.


      With the new HTML editor we give you option to use the advanced HTML5 technology which entails new capabilities and solutions for your site as well as comprehensive support for mobile devices. However, HTML5 is still a relatively new technology and it not yet fully supported by all browsers. These browsers will catch up with this technology, but to make sure things run smoothly, please make sure to update all your browsers to the most recent versions. You can easily check how well does your current browser support HTML5  here.


      Please note that I checked your site with IE 10 and was able to view it properly.


      While browsing on the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

    Hello, I'm having a few issues. I made my site live yesterday and it was working fine, but everyone I send to it says that it isn't working, and while I personally can get the site to come up on my phone (in mobile and in desktop view), I cannot get it to work on my desktop. All I get is a blank page and no error messages.

    My other problem is that even when I delete my cache and history it always seems to be a shot in the dark if the editor will work or not on either of the three browsers I use including firefox, safari, and explorer.

      If you are using a supported browser when trying to access your live site, please follow the steps provided here. Make sure you try and use different browsers, connections and devices. If the issue persists, please let us know.


      As for your site's editor, I was unable to recreate the issue as your editor loaded properly on my end in just a few seconds.


      Please make sure that you have the latest version of the browsers you use.

      Your pointing configuration in your registrar (not Wix, but your actual domain host) is incorrect.

    I am using my company's website with premium account for over a year. Yesterday, first our e-mail accounts started not to work then I realised that website is also disappeared. It says the server can't be found. I tried in several computers and mobile phones, Apple and PC. I checked the domain, it is active. Can you please check it on your side and let me know as soon as possible: It is very very urgent.

      I see that your domain is configured to be connected to your site via nameservers, however ,the domain name's nameservers are not Wix's. Please change this with your registrar as Wix currently does not control the domain records (that is why the server can't be found, the domain does not point to any address).


      Further examination of your domain shows various discrepancies. It appears that some of your records are incomplete or are missing, and that propagation has not completed for your domain. Please contact your domain host in order to fix these issues.

      We have no control over you domain and we cannot see the reason for why  the configurations changed.


      Please address your domain provider in order to configure them properly and to ask why was the configurations changed.

    I have no red box to cross and tried to follow your instructions, to be honest Im quite frustrated as I am not a technical person, I have no idea what I am doing and why my website is suddenly not working, I changed nothing. Please can you sort this for me, as I said I am paying for this and will cancel my payments if this is not sorted out. I am losing business because of this. My website should be and domain should be cheshirechildrenspartycharacters.co.uk

    Hi, for the past two days i cant access anything

    error 4 - access denied

    is the message that keeps appearing when i try

    Myother account works fine. I tried to clear cache, cookies, disable antivirus, connect directly to the router, tried various pc's, am working on google crome. Can you tell me what the problem is please?

    Also last week the editor did not work on Friday nor Saturday. It kep saying error on saving.

    Please advise, thank you.

      Hi, thank you for the reply.

      Seems someone fixed the problem meanwhile. 

      When i logged in and click on "edit site" i received an error message;

      "Error 4 - Access denied" 

      This ocurred for two days running. But guess wix handled it.

      Hi again, i can access the data ok now, but i cant seem to save any changes. 

      This messages keeps coming up, which was the same problem last week. 

      Attached a picture of the message.

      I looged out, and logged back in again...same issue appears.

      I couldn't recreate this issue. 


      Please try the following: 

      1. Clear cache

      2. Use another browse. 

      3. Disable the antivirus.
