    Rory,

    Following up on your response from June 27.  Reply button won't allow me to post....go figure.

    You indicated that I needed to update my browser in order to view my published site online.

     

    This makes a big difference in upgrading to a paid subscriber.

    Users of my site are not informed that it is a browser compatibility issue but rather greeted with the standard message and redirected to wix.com.  They believe my site is down for maintenance or has been removed.  Not all users have updated browsers.

    Has wix removed support for earlier browser versions? I was able to view, edit and publish my site up until early June 2014.  This is no longer the case, according to your explanation.

    Webs.com does not have a browser compatibility issue.  Will this be resolved on your end? Thanks

      Wix is compatible with Internet Explorer (version 9 and above), Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
       

      With the new HTML editor we give you option to use the advanced HTML5 technology which entails new capabilities and solutions for your site as well as comprehensive support for mobile devices. However, HTML5 is still a relatively new technology and it not yet fully supported by all browsers. These browsers will catch up with this technology.

      Thanks.  Based on your response - Internet Explorer browser 8 is still more popular than versions 9 and upwards (from the usage statistics website link you shared).

      I was able to view my site using Browser version 8 up until June 2014 so evidently Wix withdrew support at around that time.

      If popularity is still relevant as regards to browser usage, why won't wix still offer support for Explorer 8 browsers?  That's the question.

      As it stands, neither I nor users / visitors to my site can access the site which until June 2014 was not an issue.

      the tables that we sent you doesn't show the popularity of the IE8.

      the reason that we don't support it is simply because it's obsolete and it doesn't support half of our advanced tool capabilities

    I can not find any reason why Wix has deleted me website.  I am current and was running just fine.  I want to know how long this has been this way?  I also would like an account adjustment for it has affect operations of other enitities that serve off off this webiste from being as productive as they ought to be!?  Thank you for your time in this matter.

      I have visited your domain and I see it is correctly directed to your Wix site. Your site works perfectly!

      If you are still having trouble viewing your site, please try doing the following:

      1) Go here and click on "Delete all sites". Then clear your browser's cache.

      For step-by-step instructions about how to clear your browser's cache, please follow this link.
      You can also find a video tutorial here.

      2) Try to Flush your DNS. For detailed instructions on how to do so please go here.

      3) Please go to the Windows start menu->click on 'run'-> select the first option: 'Run'-> type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      For Mac users: Go to ‘Application’ then open ‘Terminal’ and type: 'ping yourdomain.com'->A window will pop with an IP address. Please run this test from several computers.

      -If you receive an IP address on your computer other than the IP you see here and you see this IP from other computers please contact an IT expert in your area for further troubleshooting.

      -If you receive a different IP than the IP you see here from multiple locations, please send it to us in order for us to check it.

    My site showed up a couple of days ago...now it shows www.www.www.www.tjfelts.com and won't show up. Pointed to the IP static address and still not working? Help please1

    I have 2 sites on my account

    www.cdogg.org and carlislezing.co.uk

    They both stopped working.  I have had many emails recently regarding the site/domain/server and they seem to be trying to persuade me to buy something extra so I have deleted them.  It is possible therefore that I have deleted an important message.

     

    I have paid for an upgrade and the www.cdogg.org site has returned.  Carlisle zing has not!  Can you explain if I have done something wrong and how to get back on line please?

      There is still no sign of my website www.carlislezing.co.uk

      I was trying to build a new site for Zing on the HTML method and wanted to replace my old flash based site to that one.  Is there a mix up there?  On my account, the new site opens but .... even though I have prepared two pages so far only the first one is accessible.

      I need my new site to have the same address as the old one.  I find the whole business of domains rather confusing so need help very soon as I would like to get my website going.

      It needs to be at www.carlislezing.co.uk but isn't.

      PLEASE HELP ME!  It has been a while since I first contacted you!  The site was always at the top of the page on a Google search but is now further down the page AND WON'T OPEN.

      I have followed the instructions to correct the connection method for www.carlislezing.co.uk and 72 hours have passed.  MY SITE WILL STILL NOT OPEN!

      Every time I am given a new piece of advice I have to wait 72 hours (3 days) before expecting results. It is now a long time since I lost the site and many people are asking where it is!  PLEASE CAN YOU GIVE ME A SOLUTION!!!!!

       

      With regard to www.cdogg.org the instruction you gave me led to  a general help site and didn't point specifically to any particular area so I am still not sure what to do.  The site does open though even though I haven't done anything else.

       

      I REALLY NEED www.carlislezing.co.uk !

      As you will know if you look at my account I have started to build a new Zing site.  I would be happy to develop that one instead of the old one which is flash based.  BUT I AM GETTING NO ANSWERS.  PLEASE HELP ME!

      Once the 30-day redemption period is over, you can re-purchase it from Wix, that is to say, when it is released online as a free URL. Note that it is not kept for you and other users may purchase it beforehand.

      You can contact your domain host and renew the payment for this domain, then connect it to Wix.

       

      In regard to the domain www.cdogg.org, as well as the .co.uk one, note that the link provides you more options to choose from on the table. Please choose the link according to your domain host's name.

    same issue. My site says it can't load the page. This is vital this issue gets fixed as soon as possible as my career (and all of our sites and careers) depend on it. Thank you Wix! I have always loved your site!

    hi, can't access my site:

    I've tried on two different browsers and on my phone, it says the server is not responding and won't load. Definitely haven't typed it in wrong.

    Anything else I can try or is this a thing for wix.com to fix?
