    Thanks - the CName records come up as the wix ref in the box, but the A comes up as this number: 216.185.152.148, which is not the number in the box  - can you tell me what to do? Many thanks.

    Hi Wix Team, 

    I recently published my site (premium), and it shows up "This Webpage is not available" so many times throughout the day. Sometimes I can access it, most of the time I can't. I checked the A & CName record and they point to the right place; I haven't edited anything today, my history is completely cleared on my browser (I'm using Chrome - but I also downloaded Firefox and tried Internet Explorer and the same thing happens). When I check the connection it says "the domain does not point to Wix"... but it does. I will leave it alone and then all of a sudden it works for a while. Then it goes back to that error message. I have uploaded the messages I receive. 

    I understand that most of the time you check on your end, the page seems to be fine, and I'm not sure if that's a fluke or not, but it changes throughout the day constantly and it's frustrating when I'm launching to the public but half have issues viewing it. 

    Is it an issue with my Domain provider (Go Daddy) ? What is wrong that is can't stay connected?

      Hi,

      I apologize for the inconvenience. The domain does not load because the name servers are not configured to Wix, as can be seen here.
       
       
      To fix this, please send your domain host the following message: 
      I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their name servers: NS1.WIX.COM (IP address 216.139.213.90) and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address 95.211.144.195)
       
       
      Please allow up to 72 hours for changes to propagate.

      Hi, 

       

      Please delete the "Microsoftonline" servers from your domain records. You should point your domain only to Wix's servers. As you can see here  only some of the nameservers are Wix's. Please allow up to 72 hours for changes to propagate.

      The Microsoft online server is for my email (I use office 365). I can't delete it. What are my options?

      Hi,

      I checked your domain connection and it appears that your name server is not set to Wix. Please contact your registrar and change the name servers to Wix.

      Note that an MX record, or mail exchange record, is used to map a domain name to a list of message transfer agents for that domain. You can add or update MX records from the Domains page of your Wix account.

       

      To add or update MX records: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > under My Domains, next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

      At the bottom of Domain Summary, next to Email (MX Records):, click Add > select I have an email provider > from the drop down menu, choose Other > add or update the MX records > click Save.

       

      Note: An MX record is an address, not an IP number. An example of an MX record is: mx1.biz.mail.yahoo.com

       

      Note: Use lowercase letters only when entering your MX records.

       

      Note: If your domain is connected to your Wix site via Pointing, your domain host is in control of your MX records.

    Trying to pull up my website and I keep getting a Server Not Found Error. Some of my customers are getting this same error. Checked the A record and it points to the same place, but when checking the CName it doesn't show up.

      I am not able to reproduce this issue on my end, what more, I can see that your domain is properly configured and connected.

    I recently published my site www.studio-idea.org and had a few issues with the look of live site, which I was able to solve. One problem I still have is that my logo looks distorted no matter what I do.

      Hello there,

      I have this problem repeating. The logo shows up distorted time to time (not each opening though), but it is definitely not looking good at all :(( 

      Second thing is the Subscribe Form from MailChip is not here every time I open the site. There is just a blank space there.

      And the third issue is that site does not open each and every time. Sometimes it's just a white blank page, until I reload it a few times. 

      Please help to find a problem and fix it.

      Hi,

       

      Wix HTML5 websites are optimized to display properly for the most common browsers and devices used today. However, it's important to note that the various browsers and devices use different rendering engines, and therefore may display minor differences in your website.
       

      Sometimes these minor differences can have a domino effect- for example, a 1% difference in rendering of a font size, can cause a line with only 20 characters to appear 1/5th of a character wider. If your text box doesn't have any extra room for the text, this may cause the last word to wrap to the next line, which will make your text box longer and will 'push' the rest of the components under the page down (By the way, if you experience this issue, it's really easy to solve- you just need to make the text box a little bit wider in your editor to allow for extra space so that the text will still fit, even when it's rendered wider).

       
      The web standard is still evolving, and it's important to keep up with the newest technologies and standards. That's why Wix is at the forefront of HTML5 website development.
      We are doing our best to minimize the effects caused by the aforementioned factors, while continuing to provide you with the flexibility to create the most amazing website on the web.


      For the time being, however, there is a work around that should help to reduce some of the alignment issues you may be experiencing. By placing misaligned content within a ‘container’, you are securing several different items within a single shape. Items within a ‘container’ are locked into position and so will not appear to move on their own accord and/or knock other items out of alignment.
       


      Use a Box that is set to appear as transparent (by moving the opacity down to 0) as your ‘container’. Place all of the various components within this Box so that they are ‘attached’ to it. Once within their container, these items are essentially grouped together and will not fall out of alignment.

    Hello, 

    Ik can't really find out what i still have to do and understand to connect my WIX site the right way. 

    i host my domain name @ www.mijndomein.nl (all of my domains). 

    I made a Wix website and i want to connect it the right way. Now i only have redirected it, but that is not working really proparly. What doe i need to do step by step.

    Hi, I am currently working on a site and cant view it from the PC I am working on. I have tried it on internet explorer and chrome, I have tried clearing browsing cache and contacting my ISP with no luck. I intend to go premium once its complete but I am worried about it not having good perfomance.

    Issue with Internet Explorer

    Hi,

    When I go to a site I built (www.realestatepropix.com.au) it will show up sometimes in Internet Explorer and not not in others.  A client says that use IE11 and have disabled everything, cleared firewall, etc but still just get a blank white page.

    I need this issue rectified and would appreciate your assistance.

    when I try to go to my site I get "this webpage is not available" I called earlier today and I was told to go incognito and clean my browsing history but it's still not working and my family can't pull it up either :(

      2. Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and either IE or Safari (depending on whether you use a PC or a MAC).

       

      If you are still having issues, please provide us this information:

      1. What Operating System you're using (i.e. Mac OSX, Windows XP, etc.)
      2. What browsers you've tried - and include the version of the browser (can generally be found by going to Help > About within the browser).

    hello I don't have a domain I am using the wix website my website is http://wantthatfashion.wix.com/fuzionfashion

    I have have a few customers ordering with no problem but I have also had a few complaints saying they cant get onto my website it just comes up with a blank screen, have also have a few people say they cant get to the check out and that it also keeps crashing, how come some people have no problem with my website and others cant get onto it?
