    Hi Wix team. Thanks for a super service so far.

    I wish to go ahead with the Unlimited plan, but experience the following issue on my unpublished site

    1. start on Home in preview

    2. click Event Foto

    3. wait 8 seconds for the strip slideshow to autoplay - nothing happens.

    The slideshow is set to Autoplay. The autoplay is crucial, as the 3 images presents very different sub categories of my event photo service.

    Please advice. Thank you.

      Oh and I DID try to clear the cache as suggested in the post by Tom June 22,2013.

      I've tested your site on a number of updated browsers and computers, the slideshow auto played immediately o all of them.


      Are you still encountering this issue? If so, please test it on other updated browsers in order to com[pare the results. Let us know how it went, which browsers and exact versions you've tested.

    This problem was not solved.  Still have an issue.    

    go to www.bubblecarnviale.com

    click on "imagination" tab

    click on "creation" tab

    click on "imagination" tab again

    wait a few seconds

    Slideshow fails - Note: image that was placed behind slideshow appears.  This was placed behind slideshow to avoid a blank screen when the slideshow fails.

      I checked your site and was unable to recreate the issue: following your instructions, when navigating back to the 'imagination' page the Slideshow properly works and transitions through the various images. 


      It sounds like the issue may now be caused due to a local browser-related glitch, possibly cache-related.  While browsing the web, your computer and browser store various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

      Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions  here.

      If the issue persists, please try using a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

    Yes, received your email indicating the issue has been resolved but still having exact same problem. Here is detail A B C = XYZ

    a: enter home page

    b: click on portfolio tab and view pics

    c: click back on home page. if cursor remains within pic area, 'usually' the slideshow will work, however

    xyz: if after returning to home page u move cursor out of slideshow area, the slideshow area goes blank and requires cursoring over and clicking on in order to reappear and continue working

    Thx for continuing to resolve this issue. Sounds like a real bear.  lmk if I can provide any other info. I did look to see if it made a diff if in between pages had pics or slideshows themselves. It didn't matter.  Any subsequent pages from and back to home, resulted in home page slideshow blanking out.

    Hi,  I am still having problems with my slideshow.

    Home page = slideshow

    click anywhere away from home page

    then click back to homepage (click the evyivy title).

    Some slideshow tiles remain grey and motionless.

      Preview sites often behave slightly differently than published live sites, we have fixed this issue and you shouldn't experience any problems once the site is published.

    ok ive done it.  I have spent the money, got a domain name and am ready to go live!

    Just had another preview of my website and the slide show worse than ever.  Do you know the time frame of when this bug is fixed?  I can't advertise my website when it is less than perfect.  If this is a high priority then I would hate to see how long a low priority would take.  There are some real tech savvy people out there, why can't they fix it?  Well if you need help I know a real tech guy in New Zealand at Gen-i Northland, in Whangarei .  Pretty sure he could fix it.

    yes,  I have been waiting some time now for it to be fixed.  I hope there is a solution soon as I am almost ready to publish my website and my slide show is my home page.

    I am also experincing diddiculties with the autoplay function.

    The moment I include text to desribe the image autoplay does not work. Images without text have no problems.

    Is there a solution soon to come? If not I will have to add text below each slide show...at least for the moment.

      FYI, when I remove text from the "Description" area then it works. Text in "Title" area not visiable though.
