    i cant save or publish my site. everytime I try it says that there is a problem with my header and footer but it has already been fixed. then I try again and the same thing comes up again.

    what do I do?

      Hi,

       

      Please try following these steps in order to rectify the issue:


      1. Open your browser to a blank page. Close any Wix pages that are open.
      2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies of "Everything". You can find step-by-step instructions here.
      3. Restart your browser and then log into your Wix account and try again. If this doesn't work, then continue on to Step 6.
      4. Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and either IE or Safari (depending on whether you use a PC or a MAC).
      5. If you connect to the internet through a router, please try connecting directly through the modem. Then follow Steps 2-5 again.
      6. Try disabling your internet security programs and try again (i.e. antivirus, firewall, etc.). It is preferable to try this while still connected to the modem directly. This is meant to assist us in determining the source of the problem that you're facing.
      7. Try connecting to Wix from a different computer that uses a different network to connect to the internet.

    I was working on my site for a few hours and when I saved, occasionally I would get an error message saying it couldn't save or that I had multiple editor windows open (which I didn't). I did get confirmation messages saying it did save successfully so I thought everything was fine. Then the editor crashed I had to close the site and open it again. All of my work I did today is now gone in the editor, but luckily I had also published a couple times while I was working. The published site has all the work I did on it. How can I get the published version of the site back in my editor?

      Hi,

       

      I'm deeply sorry for the inconvenience. You can restore a prior version of your Wix site from your Site History.

       

      To restore a prior version: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Site History.

      Here you can see an overview of all edits and changes that you have made to your saved and published site. This will make it easy for you to view, flag or restore to a prior version of your website at any time!

       

      It's a good idea to flag and rename versions so that you can find them easily.

       

      Note: The following components will not be affected when you restore a previous version of your site: Online Store, Blog, List Builder, and Apps

       

      Note: You can also create a duplicate copy of your site.

      To create a duplicate copy: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Duplicate Site.

      Which one of the sites under your account are you trying to back up?

       

      I can see you have three copies of 'petersabbagh' under the account, were you eventually able to backup your site?

    When trying to connect my google merchant I get error 500.

      Hi,

       

      Thank you for contacting Wix Support regarding this matter.

       

      Please note that Google Merchant has closed down, which is the reason you are receiving the error message.

       

      Currently, you can use PayPal, WebMoney, Skrill, Authorize.Net, PayU or the Offline Payment option with your Online Store shopping cart. After connecting your Online Store to your merchant account, all payments made by your buyers will appear in your merchant account unless you chose the Offline Payment option.
       
      To connect your merchant account to your store, click on Payment & Currency from Manage Store and choose a payment method from the drop-down menu. It is not possible to use a third party merchant.

      If you would like to see other payment gateways in the Wix Online Store, feel free to add your request to our Wishlist by posting in this thread.

    This keeps popping up whenever I try to save my work. Idk what the problem is, so I can't fix it.

      Have you tried to do any changes with your site's Header or Footer? 

      If the answer is yes, please use your site History archive and revert to the last version you saved before you made the Header/Footer changes.

      To access your site history:

       

      1. From My Account, next to your site, click Manage & Edit Site.

      2. From the right of the page that opens, under Site Actions, click My Site History.

      Your site history page opens.

      If the answer is no, please try to clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

    I am getting an Error -10117 when trying to save and/or publish my site. I just made a whole bunch of changes and it won't let me save! HELP!
