I am having a very similar problem to karmarider. I am unable to edit my site. Whenever I launch editor I am able to start working on my site for maybe a few seconds. Then the editor becomes completely unresponsive, spiraling my CPU out of control and practically locking up my entire machine. I've tried both Safari and Chrome and experienced the same result. I've tried multiple times today and even rebooted my machine as a precaution, but same results. I even launched editor and let is sit there for 10 minutes without touching it to see if it was loading in the background and shouldn't be disturbed. That didn't work either. I understand my site may be "heavy", but it has worked in the past couple of years without any problem. I can even confirm I was working in editor just a few weeks ago without issue. I need to be able to edit my site and any immediate help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks but I have been told several times that the issue I am experiencing has nothing to do with the DDoS attack and in fact has existed for 4 weeks, well prior to that attack. If no one is going to do anything to help me I would much rather just know that instead of sending me platitudes and apologies. After several weeks of asking for help and contacting you repeatedly, I have yet to get one response that gives any actual information. I know you guys have had a very rough week lately and I appreciate that you have had a lot to deal with, but at some point I would really appreciate a response that actually addresses my situation in anything other than a standard non specific way. Thanks. I love what I was able to do on Wix and that my page looks exactly like I imagined it, but if I can not get into the editor to complete it has all been a waste of time. Please help me get this solved so I can finish the geat site I have started. I really couldn't be more pleased with the site's potential, I would just like to be able to realize that potential.

Since Thursday, 2/27 at 07:00am EST, Wix has been the target of a malicious DDoS attack, a technique used by hackers to take an internet service offline by overloading its servers. (To read more about DDoS attacks:http://en.wikipedia.
We have robust systems in place to deal with such instances; however the scale of this particular attack caused Wix.com and some Wix user websites to experience significant, but intermittent downtime.
Throughout the attack, we were able to guarantee that the vast majority of websites remained live and unaffected. Rest assured, all of your personal data, including billing information, is secure and was never compromised or at risk.

I have not gotten any help with this but I wish there was a way to just delete this post. This was me being frustrated after 4 weeks of being polite about this problem and I admit I lost it. I pretty much just give up at this point. I am to the point of begging for help and I just cant stress over this anymore. I have gone days without sleep checking the site hour after hour to see if I can get in and work on my site. I have reported the issue 5 times in four weeks and allthough I have spoken to tech about it several times, no one has ever gotten back to me though each time I am told someone will contact me by the end of the next day. 4 weeks of this have just worn me down beyond and hope for the problem ever being resolved. Again I am sorry for my tone earlier but after weeks of being polite and patient I just lost it.

Wow. Astonished at everything I have read. It really worries me. a lot. My site is going to require at least 150 pages and now that I have read this thread I now know that WIX "recommends" only having 50 pages for the editor to work correctly. This is obsurd. I could understand if you guys have only been in business for 1-2 years, but after 8 years this is an issue that should have been handled a long time ago. With over 44 million users, and millions in revenue, this should be taken care of. I am now hesitant to continue with my project out of fear of not being able to edit efficiently and in a timely enough fashion. Please fix this asap. Something has to be done, offer a higher premium package for those with 100 pages or more or something. I have deadlines to meet and I will never meet them if i cannot edit correctly and in a timely manner. Please let people know in your advertisement from now on that you guys only recommend 50 pages and that your service isn't recommended for those planning to have more than that. Thanks

I am unble to update any of my premium Wix sites. The editor save and publish options are not even viewable. I have clients that are threathening to pull the accounts....PlEASE HELP!

For the last month I have been trying to edit my site, but even when trying to get on to the editor is next to impossible. The last time I was actually able to edit it took me over half an hour to load.
This has been tested on 3 different systems, so please do not insult my intelligence by saying it is my computer.
Everyday for the last 3 weeks I have tried contacting wix on the phone only to get a user busy tone every single time. I am now at 43 logged attempts to contact you guys in regards to this.
I understand that customer service and support is not one of Wix's priorities, that much is Extremely obvious just by reading feedback and support answers.
Regardless, I have been paying a premium fee for absolutely nothing. So can you guys sort this out please, and refund my premium fee for the last month, also continue to refund my money until you have actually corrected this issue.
Please don't forget that we are actually YOUR CUSTOMERS.
What an absolute farce.
