    Lost Gmail account

Hi, I just purchased an extra email address for my domain but I don't think I had the chance to put a password in to access the gmail account. If I did I have forgotten it. How do I get into a gmail account without the password? when I try in gmail with that email address is says account not found so is there some way I can identify the email address I have created on Wix?

    Hi Wix team,

Thank you for your response however it did not answer one thing I need to do.

I purchased 2 email accounts yesterday.

    & orders@mydomain

My problem is when I set up these accounts and they asked for my name I put in my name "Michelle Vass" . Now on both email accounts it says "Michelle Vass" orders "michelle Vass' info. I DO NOT want my name there.

Can I set this up for saying "customer service" and not have a person name attached? I will have people responding in this account who are not myself.

I was sent information to do an alias account which does not make any sense to me since that account would appear on the reply and that defeats the purpose of having an account with my domain name in it.

Should I delete the emails I purchased and start all over? I can not get back into changing the settings of the emails that were set up. Which is says you can go back into later and change.

      Hi michellecvass,

You need to access the Google Apps Admin console to change the display names.

Please see this page for instruction.

I just purchased wix emails and I am very confused.

1-I did not want my name attached to all the emails, is there a way I can change the name on who responds in the emails instead of having my name? like in customer service instead?

2-I do have them connected to my personal email account, not even sure how I did this, it looks like one attached so I can see the messages as they come in, can I respond from this account and it will appear that info@mydomain will respond to the customer?

3-How can I add the logo to the email accounts?

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Michelle Vass

      Hi Michelle,

      Thanks for contacting us.

Regarding your first question, please see following link for instructions how to change outgoing email's alias.

Regarding your second question, if you reply to an email that's been forwarded to another account you own the sender details will appear from the account you're replying from. In other words the address that will appear won't be the correct address.

Regarding your third question, please see here for further explanation how to add a logo to your email accounts.

I hope this was helpful, let us know should you require any further assistance,

      - Daniel M, Wix team.

I'm not sure what happened last time that made your first mailbox to stop working.

Please note that in order to set up another mailbox you need to follow the steps provided in the best reply above. This shouldn't affect your current mailboxes function.

Please let us know should you require further assistance.

      Gat Wix Team.

I am not sure it this info will help at all, but I had this problem and the only way I solved it was by having a friend set up the emails accounts from a different computer and ip address. He seemed to have no problems! I wonder if some computers cache incorrect info and this causes the problems? But I am no techie!

You can email our support at premium@wix.com.

As for setting up additional mailboxes after the first admin mail, see the best reply at the top of this thread on how to do it. Its done through the google apps control panel and not through the Wix manage premium page.

    Hi there,

I have bought a domain and email with you, and today I bought the second domain and email. However, when I am trying to set up an email for the second domain, it states that it is unable to create second google apps, therefore unable to create email account for the second domain. I tried to enter google apps and add user, however, it also states that the limit of user is 1. So there is no way for me to create an email account with the second domain. Please assist! Thank you!

I am having the exact same problem as  c2itchris with Google Email not accepting my password selections. I have tried every combination I can think of. I've used letters and numbers only, then letters, numbers _ - and . all mixed together, but still it gives me the same red message.

For example, surely a password like this : red_356-78.3

should work.......but it doesn't....it just keeps telling me no matter what password I create is always wrong, even though I am using the symbols it says to use. I'm getting somewhat annoyed at this now!

When setting up the additional mailboxes, there is no need to include the @domain.com part.. Only the username should be entered.
