    I have a company email address ... its a standard gmail account.

    How do I use this standard gmail account as the recipient of my contact form on my wix website.

    NONE of your prebaked answers covers this and I am not going to spend hours searching for it.

      In order to set the e-mail address in the contact form, please click on the Contact Form -> Settings -> Email to -> Fill in your e-mail address:


      Currently your address is set to pmillerco@gmail.com.

    I have a domain and email with 123-reg. My mailbox stopped working and they told me 
    its because I had changed the name servers to Wix. I was told to change it back to 123-reg and contact you to add the 123-reg MX records on my behalf.

    please help, not very good at this technical stuff

      Hello adamdavies73,

      Thank you for contacting Wix support.

      You have changed your nameservers to 123-reg and by doing so you have unlinked your site to Wix.

      When connecting a domain to your Wix site with our nameservers, the domain stays at your hosting company and connects to the Wix servers NS1.WIX.COM and NS2.WIX.COM.

      This method transfers control of your domain records to Wix. These records can be controlled via Domain Manager of your Wix account by you!

      This will also allow your mobile site to be automatically associated with your domain!

      To connect your domain to our name servers:

      Send your domain hosting company the following message:
      I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their name servers- NS1.WIX.COM (IP address and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address

      After sending your message, please allow up to 72 hours for changes to get updated (propagate).

      As for your MX records ,an MX record, or mail exchange record, is used to map a domain name to a list of message transfer agents for that domain. You can add or update MX records from the Domains page of your Wix account.

      To add or update MX records: Sign in to your Wix account > from the top menu, hover over Subscriptions > click Domains > under My Domains, next to the relevant domain, click Manage.

      At the bottom of Domain Summary, next to Email (MX Records):, click Add > select I have an email provider > from the drop down menu, choose Other > add or update the MX records > click Save.

      The MX records you need to add are:


      If you are having problems connecting with these MX records please mail your mail provider and ask them for the MX records and notify us so we can change it. At the moment we cannot change your records because you are not linked to our nameservers.

      Note: Use lowercase letters only when entering your MX records.

    hello i have just got of with domain.com because my email is not working and they have said that you guys need to point my email to "mx.domain.com". Please don't change where my site is pointing just my email. The more it is down the more i lose money so could you help me as soon as you can

    WTF I have a email address and it says its invalid on my contact page. Your trying to force me to buy a email address? Why wont it work

    I have a question regarding about the existing Gmail business account (I applied before Wix purchase and separate purchase) that I newly have, trail period just passed and I want to point MX record to make my google gmail works. After I transfer my domain to wix, my existing Gamil business account is not working. What should I do now? Please advise.

    I am really struggling setting up my email address from a Crazy Domain site. I have received the detail below from Crazy Domains; can you see if I have entered this correctly in my area as I don't believe it is working.

    Further I do not know what mail server and user name I need to set up my Apple mailboxes. 

    I am so confused!

    I recently got an account with WIX.  Had EarthLink for years and they were terrible.  I just wish I could send a question directly to WIX and get a direct answer.  Here we go again..............

    I have successfully connected my domain from the previous host to my Wix account.  Now this came with our old Google Apps email addresses:  like - webmaster@salemmennonite.us  and salemkidron@salemmennonite.us  Will these still remain intact or do I need to do something to keep it working?  (We have 5 of them)

    I am having a problem with my second e mail purchase. I purchased it however I could not personalized it. I think I accidently closed the pop out window. Is there any other way that I can personalize my second purchase ?

      To set up your additional mailboxes please follow these steps:


      1. From Wix.com, click "My Account".

      2. From My Account, next to Manage Premium, click "Mail Boxes".

      3. From the Mail Boxes tab, next to the relevant domain name, under Mail Options, click "Manage".

      4. From Mail Boxes Summary, under Options, click "Go to Google control panel" and sign into your account.

      5. From the Google control panel, click "Users".

      6. From Users, click the "add user" icon to create a new user.

      You will be able to set up your new mailboxes directly from this section of Google's Control Panel.

    Good evening!  I purchased my domain through GoDaddy, which comes with 1 free email box.  I am hosting my site through Wix, and purchased a 2nd email address through the Google Mail App (through Wix).  When I set up the Wix-purcahsed email, it disabled my GoDaddy inbox.  I kinda/sorta understand why/how, but I am wondering ... Is it possible to have both emails active?  Can I forward the GoDaddy email to the Wix/Google Mail Center?  Thank you.

      Please note that connecting a mailbox to two different MX records will produce issues.

      You should decide either mailbox you wish to use, or Wix Google Apps or your GoDaddy mail and make the relevant configuration accordingly.

      That's what I suspected; thanks for confirming.

      If I buy a 2nd mailbox through Wix/Google and name it the same name as my free email through GoDaddy, will that solve the issue or will it cause additional problems?

      Follow-up question:  If I have 2 email addresses through Wix/Google, is there a way to have them dump into the same inbox?

      Buying a second mailbox with the same name shouldn't create issues, apart from probably diverting email traffic away from your GoDaddy account to your newly purchased Google Apps account.


      In regards to your second question, you can set forwarding rules with Google Apps.
