**New** We have recently added 30 new fonts including Helvetica!

At this stage we have no way of offering this possibility- You can upload the text with your own font via JPG or HTML code for example.

Please note that more fonts are available via the Texty App.

    Change in fonts

Is it that wix has reduced the number of font style it offers? Bcoz few months back there were many font style options like sans serif, Josafin Slab etc are not available now?

I went through wix blog on fonts. I think now the number of font style options have reduced is it the case?

Or is there some other way to access more fonts?

    Please let meknow about it.

      Hello iamaakashkumar7,

please see the best answer above. We recently added additional fonts.

It might be that adjusting our selection, some fonts are not there anymore.

Though "Josafin Slab" is still available in the menu.

Follow the link above to the give your feedback.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

      Have a good day,

These are actually images, not text. You can add images that display text of any font.

How can i use my own font?

Wix cannot provide me a facility to use my favorite fonts online. While it provides numbers of fonts for text editing and it's usage, I always wanted to use my own font in my website. For Example:

In the picture, a font has been used for text-editing. I want to upload own font.

    Please suggest a solution.

I merged your question into the relevant thread.

Unfortunately, we do not offer this feature at the moment.

Please note that if you wish to use a specific font in a title, or any other small part of your site, you can do so by uploading it as an image.

      Thank you for your patience,

My two biggest complaints are that I cannot add my own fonts. This is super frustrating. When I am making a page I like to keep the branding consistent, and this includes the fonts. Also I would like to be able to have more control over gradients while I am creating menus and boxes.

As you must be aware adding your own fonts is not yet supported. However, if you wish, you can upload images that have text with your desired font, as a workaround in the meantime.

      I apologize for any inconvenience.

Helvetica Neue, especially the light versions, is horrible onscreen at anything but gigantic sizes. Should not be used for video resolutions, even 1080p. Should be avoided online.

Arial on the other hand is actually designed to be read onscreen, so if I were to be given a brand which has to use Helvetica Neue, I'd set any text under 20pt in Arial and nobody would spot the difference. The resolution isn't actually there to see that the t has a slanted top at 12pt, Arial is basically a low-res Helvetica.

Regardless, Wix should integrate with fontsquirrel and be done with it. Everybody would be happy with user-customisable fonts.

How difficult is it to simply add the option to upload any TTF fonts?  This should not be that difficult to do.  Please let us know when this will be available.  A lot of clients are asking for specific fonts that WIX does not have as an option.  This is killing my ability to continue to use WIX as a web development tool for local businesses.

      Hi johnnysr728,

We are working on adding this feature as fast as possible.

Please note that this isn't that easy- we wish it was. Each font is heavy and might slow sites down- we want to make sure that when a font is uploaded by a user the site will still load as it should.

      Thanks, Nicole,
