The character limit is around 75,000 characters or 5,000 pixels, depending on which is reached first. If you get close to this limit, you can simply add another text box.

      Hey,

It isn't possible to add a scroll bar to a paragraph for two reasons:

      1. It isn't advised in modern web design.
      2. It will not work good on touch devices, ie. iPad, iPhone. You should have only one scroll bar in your website, and it should be the site scroll-bar without inner-scrolls.

Please note that you can try to add a scroll bar by adding CSS to the HTML code. A tutorial is available at w3schools here
Also note that we cannot provide support for custom code that you are embedding into your website.

      Thank you,

All the best, Dean - Wix Team

    Hello,

I understand there is a character limit for each text box, and the solution is adding another text box. However, I've maxed out the main text box on one page, and now I'd like to go in and delete and edit and shorten things. Perhaps move some text to a new box. But everytime I click EDIT TEXT, I get a pop-up "Oops, you can't add any more text in this box." I understand, I'm just trying to delete or edit, or remove text at this point, and I can't even access the editing mode. I have typos on my page that need correction and there seems to be now way to edit. PLEASE HELP

Hi, I'm having trouble with the Wix mobile editor not allowing all the text in the text boxes. I read above that there is no character limit, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can you please help?

Is there any option to have a scroll tool on the side, so I can write more text on the one page?

Is this something wix.com could introduce??

    Hi prevozrobe,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

This sounds like a browser related issue, which browser and version are you using?

Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.

While working on your Wix site, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

Let us know how it went and which browsers and exact versions you've tested.

    Hi  srikumarnatarajan,

The magnet tool will allow you to connect your components together temporarily so that when they are resized and moved, they will keep the same composition on your page.

    To use the magnet tool:
    1. Click on an element.
    2. Click the magnet tool on the bottom of the Settings window that opens on the left side.
    3. Choose a second element and click the magnet tool on this second element.

Your two elements are now locked together.

*Use the top handle to move the elements on your page together, or use the bottom handle to resize them.

*Keep in mind this is NOT a grouping tool for elements and will not lock the elements together.

    Thanks,

I have a different issue.  I have multiple images on my site and I notice that when I moved the top row to include a couple of buttons, the section immediately below it has moved but the rest of the photos below that section has not moved.  Now if I need to move those photos a little downwards, how do I select multiple images and move them down as a block and not individually?
