Hello, I have a bunch of text on my page with links attached.  When you scroll your mouse over some of them they turn grey but others stay black.  All of the text links work and they will take you to the appropriate site but some text turns grey and others don't. I just want them to all be uniform.

    Thank you!

I visited your editor and I saw some of your links are buttons and others are text elements.

A button has a "Text Mouseover" option, all your buttons are set to turn gray when hovering over them. You can either turn all your links to text elements or you could change the text on mouse over option to black on all your buttons.

To change the text mouseover option for all your buttons, click on a button > Change Style>  Text Button > next to Text Mouseover click on the color and select black.

I hope my post is within the same topic.

How do I make a hyperlink but not have it underlined?

Example is: I used plain text as part of my logo and want that linked to my homepage.

    Thank you

First, link the relevant text: Double-click the text box containing the relevant text > highlight the text that you would like to link > click the link icon from the Text Editor toolbar > choose a link type > add the relevant information > click OK.

Then, select the text and click Command Key and U. The hyperlink underline will disappear.

To change the text color in the gallery descriptions, simply click on settings->personalize and change the text color.

Please note that this will change the text color for the whole gallery, so make sure to choose a color that fits all your images.

      Best regards.

Hi I am having the same problem with my links being purple, it isn'y a major problem but I would prefer them to be black. I tried the font colour select trick but it does not work as I have clicked them already. Does that mean they look purple to just me or is it the same for all visitors now?

The links will look purple only after a user clicks them. At this point it isn't possible to change the way a link looks like after it had been clicked, but there's an open (and a fairly popular) wishlist item, you can vote to promote this feature here.

    Change default link colour

I have hyperlinked some text but it is currently purple in colour. I want to change the colour to a bespoke colour that fits with my website colour scheme. How do I do this? Please note I do not want the text colour option.

By the way this is the best website creator I have seen because it is so flexible and creative. I used 1&1 free trial previously and it was very limited as to what you can change - Wix is much better for this! Once I have finished creating my website I will be signing up for one of your packages. Thanks Stuart

Not being able to change the colour of links, and active/visited links is a ridiculous oversight. Wix has just dropped from being my top recommendation to clients to not on the list. *Please* sort this out! It's far more important than a lot of little widgety features you do have. The whole of the site I have just built is virtually unusable as the links fade into the background (which is house style and can't just be randomly changed).

To change the link color, please enter the editor-> Click on the hyperlinked text-> At the top menu choose the option "Text Color" and choose the color that you want to use.

      Thank you,

Yes, I know that is the only work-round. It doesn't answer my point. It means changing every single link one at a time! I want to set the alink properties. Your method doesn't give control over the link after it has been clicked. Could you please implement proper control over link properties, as we would have in CSS or HTML.

I tried following links to your wishlist page, but they seem just to go backwads and forwards without ever actually going to a page where we can register a request.

I understand it is not convenient to change the color of the link however currently it is the only option.

Please vote for this feature on our wish list as these objectives are immediately high

priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

      Thank you,

NOTE: You cannot change the color of a 'linked'-text that changes once clicked, and/or is highlighted upon mouse/cursor move-over. BUT, You can google widgets and/or html code to make this happen. It's a little time-consuming and can be stressful, but it's what I had to do.

    Hi peaceout89,

    Unfortunately, this is currently impossible.

You can try using Text Buttons instead of regular text hyperlinks, which give you more color options.
