I am having the same issue as many others with my Twitter buttons linking to wix.com instead of the Twitter username I have provided.  This tends to happen upon refreshing the home page.  Is there a way to resolve this issue so those visiting the home page more than once will consistently see the correct Twitter button?  Thank you

I have entered your site, pressed on the Twitter button (both of them) and reached your Twitter account (as you can see at the attached screenshot).  I have also noticed that this button (the one that is located at the top of the page) was added by the HTML app. Have you tried to use our social links? (the "Twitter" follow button).

Should this issue persists, please try to add this button and recheck it. If it is still not working, please provide us a screen shot of this issue. Also, tell us: Which steps you have taken in order to solve this problem, Have you tried to check it using different browser?

Thanks for your patience and I await your reply.

      Thanks, Rony Customer Solutions

Thanks.  I had been using the social links buttons, but had the problem described above.  So, I decided to just get around that altogether by using the HTML app instead.  I tried several browsers and clearing my cache/cookies first, but still had that issue.

I added the Twitter Follow app to our site today, published it and when I checked, the button said @Wix instead of our @pawguards.  I of course deleted it, tried again, same thing.  And yes, I did have @pawguards in Settings.  Any idea why?

When adding your user name in the Follow button settings panel, please add it as "@pawguards" instead of just "pawguards". This should solve the problem.

The Twitter button worked before, but now I appear to be having the same problem as a few other people.  In the Editor, the information is for me (@Nirokia), but once I publish the website it changes over to Wix and even links people to your twitter instead of mine.

This first image is from the Published Website.

The second image is from the Website Editor

I use Google Chrome and I've already cleared my cache but that doesn't appear to have fixed the problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi nirokia,

I checked your site and was not able to recreate the issue:

Hello.  I am having a similar issue to those reported above.  Everything I have tried has failed.  My Twitter follow button directs to @wix rather than @LastinLineLV as it should.  It is configured to direct to my Twitter handle, but it still goes to follow wix."  Any suggestions?  By the way, all of the other media buttons are working properly.

My website shows my Twitter handle linked in the Editor (changed in the settings), but on the published website it links to @wix.

This is not a new update, so it is not an issue in delayed publishing or anything like that.  Can anyone help fix this? I've cleared my cache and am using Chrome, but it's still showing "Follow Wix". I'm concerned visitors and potential clients are seeing this as well, rather than the what should be appearing.

The first photo below is from the editor. The second is from the published site.

I checked your live site and I can see the Twitter follow button is properly linked:

Please try republishing your site, clear your browsers and cache again and please try using different browsers to see if there is any difference. You can find step by step instructions here.

Hi i've noticed that when i log on to my site the "follow on twitter" button will occasionally direct people to follow wix' twitter instead of my own. this seems to happen at random. To repeat this glitch you may have to refresh my site a number of time, is there a fix for this? www.jamesives.com

If clearing cache doesn't solve the problem, please send us a screenshot of your site when the Follow Button directs to Wix's account. Also, please tell us on which browsers are you experiencing this problem.

These instructions are for HTML5 sites, while your site is in Flash format.

You can choose to submit your site for conversion to HTML5, but please read the following notes before submitting (you can find all the notes here).

      1. Keep in mind that this tool is experimental and may not export the site like you wanted, this tool is designed to give you a head start in converting your Flash site to HTML5 but manual modifications are usually required afterwards.

      2. Once the site you submitted is exported, a copy of the site will be created in your Wix account (similar name but starting with html_name) The original site will not be affected! Also any premium package/domain connected will not be effected unless changed by you manually.

      3. Some of the features that are possible in Flash are not possible on the HTML5 editor at this stage. This means, things that are not possible in the HTML5 editor will not be copied into the exported sites.

      4. Please make sure to submit the Wix URL of your site regardless if its connected to a domain or not (www.wix.com/username/sitename)

      5. If you have a premium package and want to transfer it to a new HTML site you can do that. For more information follow this link
