A Facebook Comments box allows your visitors to leave comments on your site by logging in with their Facebook account.

To add Facebook Comments: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Social > click Facebook Comments.

Click the Facebook Comments box to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Number of Comments, choose the number of comments you wish to display > under Color, choose Light or Dark.

Note: Each Facebook Comments box that you add will be connected to the page on which it was added.

Anytime I click the "add fb comment box" on my page, it flashes and then disappears. This is really frustrating! Please help!

The comment section on my site is on a "read more" page.  I need to change the color of the comment font, but can't navigate while editing to the "read more" page.  How do I do this?

To add a fb admin you need to go in the editor to Settings -> Social Settings -> and enter your facebook profile (not page!) address.

The comments will not show up on their wall, rather on their "Recent activity" tab on their timeline.

Is it possible to add the Facebook Comments feature and link it to a Facebook Group?

Unfortunately no, a comment box is always directed at a page (or a site if it the page is the home page of that site). It cannot direct to a group.

I have Facebook comments on the blog on my Wix site. Whenever someone comments there, however, the comment shows up on Facebook, within no context. I don't want this to occur. I want the comments to only show up on my Wix site on my blog.

How can I facilitate this? Thank you.

      Hey Cathy,

Thank you for contacting Wix support.

Please be informed that the Facebook Comments App allows comments to appear on your site but they do not post on your Facebook profile. The comments are displayed in the profiles of the commentors, unless they un-check the box "Also post on Facebook".

I have added the app to my test account > left a comment > unchecked the box "also post on Facebook" and nothing has appeared on my profile.

Please test it on your end and if you come across any issues, please provide us with a screen shot of the problem. For instructions on how to take a screenshot, please use this link.

To upload the screenshot, simply click on the "Upload" button and follow the steps.

      Thank you.

I added a Facebook Like button to my post pages, but the "Like" itself is not written in English [but in my language].. why? it goes the same for the comments.. how can I change it back to English?

Please note that the Facebook components in your site are loaded with the local settings of each visitor - if you'll change your account's language preferences you'll be able to see that language in your site's Like button, as in all others site with such a button (not necessarily Wix sites).

If you'll access your site via a computer which has the default language set as English, you'll be able to see the button in English as well.

Let us know if you need any additional help - we'll be happy to further assist!

    Hi Wix,

I have added a Facebook comment box to my Radio Dart website, but when i post a comment it  doesn't even say it been posted it just stays the same like i need to press the comment button. They don't even appear on my Facebook page? it just doesn't seem to work.

I went on Facebook developers and tried to use the FB comment HTML code but that doesn't work in the HTML box that comes with Wix under apps in the editor.

please help as this is to be used for business.

    Bets wishes

Today i found that i have 2274 facebook comments on my website and i didn't know about this. None of these comments doesn't appear in my Facebook account. What is the reason and how i can open and read them? This is very important for my work.

Facebook registers comments for a specific URL- this can be a facebook page, a website, your domain, or each and every single page in your site.

If you wish to display the last comments from your facebook page (that is - a facebook feed), that's something else entirely and can be done using apps like Tint.

Add Tint to your site to make it more dynamic and to always have new content from your social networks.

Click here for general instructions about how to add an app from the Wix App Market.

You can also contact Tint at any time!

      Hey Damyana

The facebook comments displayed in the Editor are there as an example, the real amount is the amount shown on your live site.
