"The html5 editor is brand new and as such is complete as to it's functionality but is still basic in features. We are correcting it's starting issues and designing new features for it. We will improve it and add many features.

Layering exists on the html editor, however the header and footer are different and cannot layer with normal components on pages.

Regarding color, the color of a site is uniform, we will be making it available for individual components soon.   "

I have no idea why the Wix team constantly releases unfinished products.   I know part of this site is freemium, but a lot of us pay for this service.   I was excited to see the new HTML feature, as my business page constantly gets complaints about the lack of mobile / tablet features.   This however might have just wasted the last x amount of hours of my time trying to configure what seems to be broken at the moment.

It sounds as though you are referring to a frame, some objects can accept a frame which goes into the surface area of the object and can be transparent or opaque. Please elaborate so we can look at the site and object in question.

It is possible to make the boxes slightly transparent in appearance, so that you can see an image behind them? This seems possible based on some of the templates, but I can't figure out how to apply to my site.

It appear that the new html site is a plug and play with only apply to all features.  When I designed the site originally in flash there were options to draw different shapes and customize their features or properties. I was also able to layer any item in relationship to the items around them.  So far trying to create a similar design line in my html site, I am unable to dictate if a box will go under say a strip placed in the heading.

I have also encountered a problem customizing multiple boxes.  When I attempt to change color properties on one box the changes are uniformly applied to all boxes.

I understand that that html and flash are two different "languages" and each will not share the same capabilities and limitations- directly translate to the other.  Will the Html site builder only allow apply to all design, or did I miss something in the tut. videos or menu pages that will allow from more flexibility and custom design elements?

Side note- the html site builder on a basic level is very intuitive and I am excited that it was released a month sooner that I had thought it would be! Are the limitations due to its newness/ not quite finished?

    :)

    Thanks!
