We recommend saving your site as often as possible, especially when making multiple changes, to avoid losing new information.

If necessary, you can always revert back to a previously saved version from your Site History.

To access and restore your saved versions: Sign in to your Wix account >  next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Site History.

On the left, of My Site History, click a saved version > click Restore.

When I am in the Wix editor, sometimes even though i am clicking "Save," there is no reaction from the website. If i click "Publish," a box comes up saying "You are about to update your LIVE site..." however, even after i press ok, it is still not published.

This is very frustrating, as I do not see any way to save my work. Even though I can continue modifying the sit as if there is no problem, I cannot save anything.

It would be much much better to have a desktop application where I can always save to my own desktop and I could also work on this even if I am on a plane without internet.

In the meantime, please let me know if there is any way that i can save my work in the situation that clicking "save" does not do anything.

    Thank you,

    Jonathan

please make sure to publish your website in order to see that changes you've made with the live version of your website (not the editor version)

Hello, I've just converted my Flash site to HTML5 and spent a few hours playing with the editor.  I saved my changes and received the "Saved!" confirmation, but when I view my HTML5 site in the editor/view I can't see any of the changes I made.  Site: http://www.wix.com/leiagore/html_jmgto#!mainPage

The editor announces when changes have been made successfully so you know for sure:

The question is have you seen this or were you unsuccessful at saving progress.
