We recommend saving your site as often as possible, especially when making multiple changes, to avoid losing new information.

If necessary, you can always revert back to a previously saved version from your Site History.

To access and restore your saved versions: Sign in to your Wix account >  next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Site History.

On the left, of My Site History, click a saved version > click Restore.

To learn more about your Site History, click here.

The wix Html crashes to much! I just lost an hour of work because I forgot to save! Google chrome just gives me the "Oh snap something went wrong" and the wix editor and the wix website are both needing reload. That's annoying and honestly a total waste of time. What can I do to not make it happen except of saving every 5 minutes?!

I've duplicated your site for you.

The duplicated document is called sms1-copy.

    Hi,

ist it possible to save different version of my HTML site?

Under Flash I have been asked to type a name for the site.

But under HTML I do not have that choice.

Would be good if I could safe and store different versions - for going back if I dislike my changes.

    Thanks

    Mike

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is a known issue to us and we are currently working on correcting this. It is due to the large size and amount of content on your site. You can try to remove some of your content is possible or simply wait for the fix to come out, unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a time frame for the fix at the moment.

When trying to save, make sure to click save once. Due to the large amount of content on your site, the save may take time. You will not see anything happening when trying to save until it's done and you receive a conformation window. Please do not try to hit the save button multiple times before you get the conformation window.

    Hi again, Wix,

I tryed a lot of ways to save and publish my site, but unfortunately the problem persists further.

I tryed old/new versions of browsers (Firefox, chrome, explorer- with clearing the cache or not), but i saved my site once (just deleted one stripe). It is not regular job with my site, its like a lottery and i dont exaggerate. 1/10 is good save. Due to my experiment i deleted all my images i have uploaded before. Save problem...Before my experiment with different browsers when i pressed SAVE button then nothing happened, now i get the same error, nr. 500. U can see that image

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

This sounds like a browser related issue, which browser and version are you using?

Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.
