We recommend saving your site as often as possible, especially when making multiple changes, to avoid losing new information.
 

If necessary, you can always revert back to a previously saved version from your Site History.

 

To access and restore your saved versions: Sign in to your Wix account >  next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Site History.

On the left, of My Site History, click a saved version > click Restore.

    I am saving and publishing my site but when i navigate through it, the changes have not been saved... and when i access my account again there are some changes on it,  so it is taking forever to edit.. cause the changes are not been saved properly...

    I am having a lot of trouble with the new HTML editor.  I have been saving a lot, but the site sometimes will revert back to a version that I saved 10 versions ago even though it was working a few minutes earlier.  These are published pages.  I've tried 2 separate computers.  I edit in an update version of firefox.  Very frustrating.  Can you advise?

    Please make sure that you have published you site after saving the changes. 

    If you still can't see the content, please try adding it again. If the problem persists, please let us know what specific content are you uploading to your site and to what page.

    I'm having a saving problem also, I add new pics/content and it say's it saved it, but I see nothing updated? How long does it take to see changes in my site?

    I updated my browser and the saving problem is now fixed, I can now save my site again.  Thank you for the help, it is much appreciated!

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

     

    This sounds like a browser related issue.

    Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

     

    HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.

     

     

    While working on your Wix site, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

    Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

     

    Let us know how it went and which browsers and versions you've tested.

    I am having the same save problems.  I am using the newest edition of Apple's Safari and still can not save.  I was saving everything just fine and then this problem just started happening.  Same as above, I click save and no response.  I have cleared cache.

    Hi itamarvh,

     

    We are sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties saving your site.

    Are you running any external extensions that may be causing this? I would recommend running a malware check.

     

    Please try using a different browser, such as Firefox, and inform us if this error repeats it self on another browser.


    Also please make sure to save your changes periodically, to ensure minimum data is lost in case of there types of local browser crashes.
