We recommend saving your site as often as possible, especially when making multiple changes, to avoid losing new information.

If necessary, you can always revert back to a previously saved version from your Site History.

To access and restore your saved versions: Sign in to your Wix account >  next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Site History.

On the left, of My Site History, click a saved version > click Restore.

I was able to save it today when I tried....so thanks! But I am using Safari on the new Mac Book Pro.  I did clear all of the cache and whatnot, so hopefully it will continue saving!! Thanks for the quick response!

    @ kgaskey21,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've checked your account and noticed that you were able to successfully save your changes yesterday, are you still encountering this issue?

This sounds like a browser related issue, which browser and version are you using?

Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.

While working on your Wix site, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

Let us know how it went and which browsers and versions you've tested.

I am having the same problems and I dont know what to do.  I do not want to lose HOURS worth of work.  When I click on "save" NOTHING happens.  And when I click publish, the pop up comes up that says im ready to publish and I click on, but then again NOTHING happens.

Please help! Im scared to close out of it in fear of losing all my work!

    Hi Thomas,

I checked your site in the Editor and was unable to recreate the problem- I managed to save and Publish your site without any issue.  It sounds like the problem you are describing may be caused by a local, browser-related issue.

Hi Wix team.  I am running into a similar issue. Here's what I did:

I saw two templates that looked similar - Spa Clinic and Massage Therapy

I happened to open them both and saved one as 'bodywyse'.  I then realized that the other (Massage Therapy) template was more along the lines of what I wanted.  I spent some time editing and tweaking and got it all happy.  I went to save it and was told that there is already a saved site called 'bodywyse'.  I went into my account, viewed it, and realized that it was the previous and undesired template so I deleted it.  Now I cannot save ANY of the work that I have done.  I click save, nothing happens.  I click publish, nothing happens, I click preview and I get a perfect preview that I would love to save and upgrade to the premium and use my own domain name for this to be hosted with.

I'm using the most recent version of Chrome browser and would like to continue to have all of the minute tweaks that I've spent the last few hours working on saved.  I notice that when I choose something like a box of text and go in to edit it that the things like font color are not already selected.  This makes it very challenging to determine what the proper setting needs to be making it quite a challenge to just start over from scratch.

Please tell me there is something I can do other than just start over.

Please specify the differences between your live site and in the editor in order for us to investigate. At the moment, both version look identical to us.

Have you made sure to publish as well as save your changes?

Why is it that every time I save my website it doesn't seem to acknowledge the changes when i pull it up the next time, even though the settings seem to acknowledge that the parameters are as i set them?

We have encountered a slight technical glitch with our save/publish mechanism which has been corrected.

You should be able to publish your site properly, let us know how it went and if you require further assistance.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
