We recommend saving your site as often as possible, especially when making multiple changes, to avoid losing new information.

If necessary, you can always revert back to a previously saved version from your Site History.

To access and restore your saved versions: Sign in to your Wix account >  next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > under Handy Shortcuts, click Show More > click Site History.

On the left, of My Site History, click a saved version > click Restore.

wow, I just lost all the work I did last night and have to redo it.  all because I trusted in Save.

I did not Publish as it was not ready.  can someone please update me as to how this is getting resolved? I want to use wix for tons of projects but if content is not going to be reliably saved... well, then that's a huge problem.

    @silverspringsnursery,
I can see that you have create your website - silversprings, 2 days ago, and it was last updated 2 days ago.

Are you sure you have worked on the same website? Are you referring to a different website maybe?

Please check any e-mail you may have been used to login to Wix, and please check your history to see if you have any old links to a Wix editor, as they may help us locate the correct account.

    Hi Zvi,

Note each time you perform a set of modifications to your site, and want them to go live, you need to publish your document after saving it.

This allows you to work on newer revisions of your site without making your working progress visible to other visitors.

If you are still seeing any differences between 2 versions after publishing it please let us know and if possible provide us a screenshot of these differences.

For instructions on how to take a screenshot check out this link.

Have a MacBook Pro that is about two months old, everything is updated. I have been saving my work every 15-30 minutes. When I went to open my account, the entire site went back to your original template.  I cleared my cache, and did everything else the forum suggested. If all of my many days of work is lost and needs to be redone, I will just use another company. I guess from the comments above, you are still working things out. I'm a busy business owner and don't have time to fuss with with wondering if my site will save. It's too bad, luckilly there are plenty of other companies with similar prices and options. I will still use your company, if you can find my work :(

    HI,

I edited my site multiple times yesterday. Saved it multiple times as well, and was not able to see the changes on one computer, but was able to see them from a different computer.

I am using either updated Google Chrome or Updated Mozilla firefox each time.

Today when I look at the site, the site has reverted back to before all the changes.

This is exteremely frustrating, I put in over 3 hours of work yesterday and saved it multiple times, was able to view the changes and now it has reverted back!!
