In order for any changes to your Wix site to appear live, you will need to publish your site.


To publish your site: From the top of the Editor, click Publish > review your SEO and Mobile View options > click Publish.

After a few seconds, the confirmation box will appear > click OK.


Note: Saving changes will not make them appear live. Every time that you save your site, you will need to click Publish to make the saved changes appear live.

    I just published my site and when visited it is extremely slow to load up and respond.  Is this a problem at my end?  Will it settle down?

    Hi, I published my website, www.montegobayanimalhaven.com, a couple hours ago and it hasn't gone live yet. Anything I should do?

      I can see that when adding your domain to your account you chose to connect it using DNS but as you can see here, using a third-party site to check your domains NS records I can see that your domain name servers are not Wix's name servers, nor is your site pointing to Wix's IP as you can see.
      This is why your difficulties are occurring.

      To resolve this issue please contact your domain hosting company (also called registrar) and ask them point your domain to

      Once this is done, it may take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate.


      Also,We recommend connecting your domain to Wix by using the Wix name servers.

      When connecting your domain to the Wix name servers there are two important steps that you must complete.

      1) Firstly you must go to your Wix Domain Manager (My Account > Manage Premium > Domains) and add your domain. 
      For more information, please click here.
      2) Please contact your domain host and ask them to connect your domain via the name servers (ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com).
      Both of these steps are essential and the omission of either will result in a domain that’s not connected correctly.

      Note: Please make sure to firstly add your domain name under the Wix domain manager

    I have published my site several times and when I try to view it as a customer it says the site is not yet published. Please help! Eliteanimalservices.wix.com

      Please note that the correct URL of your Wix site is eliteanimalservices.wix.com/elite and not eliteanimalservices.wix.com.

    I published my site http://swathiatsap.wix.com/swathi-infotech, but when i want to see my own site after i log off, the screen is blank or Chrome wont open this site. Checked in explorer too, the issue still remains.

      I've tested your site on a number of updated browsers and computers, it loaded perfectly on all of them.


      Which exact browser version are you using when encountering this issue?

      Make sure that your browser is updated to the latest version available as this is a crucial requirement when working with HTML5 sites.


      Should the issue persist, please provide us with a screenshot of the way you see this on your end in order for us to investigate and assist.

    everytime i edit my site and save and publish nothing happens..it wont change content.

      Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

      Please note that clearing your browser's cache will not resolve all issues.

      We also recommend you to try and use different browsers and see if there is any difference.

      Wix supports all major browsers (including IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari), and all of those browsers support the ability to export favorites and bookmarks to the newly installed browser.

    created new site but after connecting to existing domain site URL gives 404

    Created a new site and tried connecting to existing domain.

    Site URL returns 404.

    Please take a look at configuration.

      To fix this, please follow the instructions here

    my domain and site

    Dear Wix Team,

    I have 1 domain bought from wix www.distributorjeunesseindonesia.com and I bought your premium ecommerce package with site name distributorjeunesse.

    I still confuse how to connect or change distributorjeunesse to my real domain.

    And if I receive email from you, how can i reply properly? just reply or compose new mail?

    Please advise.
