In order for any changes to your Wix site to appear live, you will need to publish your site.

To publish your site: From the top of the Editor, click Publish > review your SEO and Mobile View options > click Publish.

After a few seconds, the confirmation box will appear > click OK.

Note: Saving changes will not make them appear live. Every time that you save your site, you will need to click Publish to make the saved changes appear live.

Changes show in editor but are not being published.

It seems to only be with the menu buttons I am trying to change the font on the menu buttons to "juno" and though the changes show in editor they don't show up on the website after I publish them.

      Hi,

I could see that both of the sites look identical.

Please make sure to publish the editor after you have made changes.

I purchased my domain off of go daddy do I have to wait 60 days before my site is up?  I don't want to use the wix domain that they first gave me because it only says my kennel name at the end.  Please help me and let me know what the deal is.  I have linked my domain with wix and I received an email stating that they were linked.  Thanks Jenni

      Hi,

I can see that you are connected via DNS. Your site is up and running:

The 60 days refer to a transfer to a different domain host.

An answer to this topic can be found in Can I transfer my existing domain to Wix so Wix is my domain host?

    Hi there,

I understand that it may take 72 hrs for my site to go live once first published and I cannot change my domain to wix as it has not been 60 days since purchasing my domain.  If I make changes to my site and re-publish, will that also take up to 72hrs or will it be instant once it has first been published?  Also, is there anything else I have to do to have the site go live if my domain was purchased elsewhere?

    Thanks,

    Nick

      Hello Nick,

I hope I understood your question correctly:

      - You should allow 72 hours to pass to have your domain informfitnessbrisbane.com connected to Wix.

Once done, please link it to your Wix site by going to Domains > manage > change > selecting your Wix site.

      - Your site inform-fitness is currently linked to this domain, hence unavailable online. If you want it to be available in the mean time, please remove its linkage to your domain from the location I mentioned earlier, then it would be available under the URL informfitness.wix.com/inform-fitness.

      - The changes you save and publish are immediately displayed in your live site. No need to wait the 72 hours.

Please let us know in case you need further help.

      All the best, Or

So I can't use the website name www.informfitnessbrisbane.com until the 60 days is up and transferred across, I can only use informfitness.wix.com/inform-fitness? But after 60 days I can use www.informfitnessbrisbane.com.  Is that right?

If people type in www.informfitnessbrisbane.com can I not get it to redirect to informfitness.wix.com/inform-fitness?  Otherwise it's going to be pretty useless to me...

      Hey,

Please note that you won't be able to transfer your domain until the 60 days have passed, however you will be able to connect your domain to your Wix site in the mean time! Please read below the difference between transferring and connecting your domain and instructions.

Transferring your domain to Wix means that your domain will be moved from the domain host that you purchased the domain from, to Wix. Your domain will no longer be managed by the domain host, rather:

      - Wix will become the domain host, which means that domain renewal will be done from your Wix account, and not from your previous domain host.
      - You will be able to manage your DNS records from your Wix account. This includes connecting your e-mail, pointing your domain to a different IP address, connecting subdomains, etc.

Please note: You can currently transfer only domains with the following extensions: .com, .org, .net, .biz. and .info.

For more information on transferring a domain to Wix, please click here.

Connecting your domain to Wix means that your domain remains with the domain host that you purchased the domain from, but is connected to your Wix site, either via name servers or pointing. In this case:

      - Your domain remains hosted by the domain host, and therefore domain renewals, contact information updates and billing inquiries must be done through your current domain host and not through Wix.
      - If your domain is connected via name servers, you will be able to manage your DNS records from your Wix account.
      - If your domain is connected via pointing, your DNS records are managed via your domain host.

For more information about connecting your domain to Wix, click here.

Please note that this process may take up to 72 hours to take effect.

If you have any other questions, please let us know!

      Thank you,

Your site: http://bwenner.wix.com/digitalportfolio is published and loads perfectly from my end.

      Please follow the steps below:

      2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies of "Everything". You can find step-by-step instructions here.
      3. Restart your browser and then log into your Wix account and try again.

I've made changes to my website and hit save and publish and it won't correct the changes. I've made other changes in the mean time and it successfully published them but these two original changes will save (shows that I've made them everytime I go in to edit) but they won't publish.

    Thanks.

I am not able to publish my site and keep getting an error about site structure preventing being able to save/publish. However, it's also saying the error was fixed automatically, but still unable to save/publish. I'm scared to close the site because I don't want to lose the work that I have already put in...

OMG guys this is NOT the current work on the site. It's a full homepage with lots of content on it. NOT just an image!! I am still NOT able to save nor publish the site and I've tried different browsers and cleared all caches/browsing history/the whole works!

The message I keep receiving is "Can you try that again?" and then it says "A problem in your site structure prevented us from saving your site. The good news is that it's allready been fixed automatically.

Please click your save button and review your site's header and footer for any possible unexpected changes"

I still can't save my work and it won't publish!
