In order for any changes to your Wix site to appear live, you will need to publish your site.

 

To publish your site: From the top of the Editor, click Publish > review your SEO and Mobile View options > click Publish.

After a few seconds, the confirmation box will appear > click OK.

 

Note: Saving changes will not make them appear live. Every time that you save your site, you will need to click Publish to make the saved changes appear live.

    I can't see my live site

    Hi,

    Why I can't see my live site after publishing it?

    I already got the confirmation email saying that I'm online but using the confirmed site address I 'm not able see it online.

    Please advice asap.

      I have noticed that you have two not published websites in your account. Please follow the instructions above to publish and load your website then. Please make sure to use a regular internet connection and not a mobile connection.

    BUG? Every attempt to Publish page edits doesn't seem to work - When I click "Publish," I get the confirmation pop-up, and the edits are saved in Editor view, but visiting the site from multiple devices (even after clearing browser caches) fails to display the changes made. NOTE: This happens after I click Publish! I am only reporting this as an issue after multiple attempts and hours waiting has not resolved the issue. Please promptly advise. Thank you.

      2. Update the flash version: 
      Click here to download the latest version of Flash for your system.

      3. Clear your Cache

      Click here to download the latest version of Flash for your system.

    I have followed the steps to publish my site but it will not go live! When I try to find it I get a screen that says that I have not published yet. Can someone help?

    hi sorry to ask again but they said smth is wrong with my header and footer and they have fixed it but i still cannot save my site. can you solve this please? my firefox has been hanging for the last 5 hours. thanks.

      While browsing the web, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

    I have published my site https://elwindorchestra.wix.com/elwo but the homepage does not appear the same as in the editor. I have an events list on the left of the homepage which doesn't show up on the published sit. every other part of the site is fine and the events list does show on the mobile site. The weird thing is that when I first visited the site after publishing it was perfect. This problem only occurred a few days later. I have tried saving and publishing the site again but no improvement.

    Please help.

    not updating

    I'm updating my site but when others look the update does not show.  And yes it has been longer than 72 hours.  And yes I've tried from other computers (in fact many people have tried from many computers).  So the update is showing on my version but not for anyone else

    Before, when I earlier used wix (years ago) I used to make a homepage here, then take the HTML adress of the page and I could publish it in other places. like f.ex imvu profiles. Is this still possible?! :-)

      Unfortunately, this option is no longer available.

      We do not support embedding or redirecting Wix site to external host, as we host all Wix creations only on our servers.

    I am currently working on my website. I just want to know is it still free when you publish your website and do I need a domain? and is this free or only if I don't choose a domain to go with?

      Hi,

      I can see that you currently do not have a premium package. Which means that your site is free.

      Should you want to connect a domain and/or want to get rid of the ads you will have to upgrade your site to premium.

       

      You can find all the information regarding the premium plans here.

      In order to upgrade your site , please go to My Sites -> click Upgrade next to the site you would like to upgrade.
