If you make changes in the Wix Editor and decide that you do not want to save them, you can exit the Editor without saving by closing the browser window or navigating away from the Wix Editor.

 

Your browser will display a pop-up message warning you that unsaved changes will be lost. Click Leave this Page to confirm. Your changes will not be saved.

    I am having problem editing HTML5 is not loading for several weeks now.  Is there changes on the editor.  I want to edit my site to make more user friendly and add more buttons and apps.  Would you please help me with HTML5?

      Hi,

      I am sorry you are experiencing trouble.

       

      Most website browsers contain built in pop-up blockers.
      As many of the features in Wix.com feature pop-ups or automatically open a new browser you will need to allow pop-ups from Wix.com. make sure your pop up blocker is disabled.

    Hello,

    please help

    I may in the wrong section. I saved my site changes and now it has reverted back to one of the original stages where most is lost. Ironically my ipad has the correct version but I can't save from it.

      Hey, 

      You can restore a prior version of your Wix site for your site history.

      To restore a prior version: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > on the right, under Handy Shortcuts, click Site History.

      Here you can see an overview of all edits and changes that you have made to your saved and published site. This will make it easy for you to view, flag or restore to a prior version of your website at any time!

      It's a good idea to flag and rename versions so that you can find them easily.

      Note: The following components will not be affected when you restore a previous version of your site: Online Store, Blog, List Builder, and Apps

    Hi,

    I was saving my editing web in recent several days not knowing that I have open editor but I am not log in.

    Now after leaving editing I did lo-gin in to find out that I lost few days work. Can that be recovered? When I look in the history of savings, my work was not saved since April 19. Today is April 23.

      Hi Ted,

      It is always advisable to close the editor after saving in order to avoid timeout errors and other conflicts. It is only possible to revert saved versions. You see all of them in your site history.

    Hello: I had my computer freeze up and one of my pages went blank.Unfortunately this saved and I lost a page of content. Is there a way to revert back to my most recent page before my last save? I appreciate any help you can give me.

      To access your site history:

      1. From My Account, next to your site, click Manage & Edit Site.

      2. From the right of the page that opens, under Site Actions, click My Site History.

      Your site history page opens.

      Just enter the account coffeewong715 (using the email coffeewong.719@yahoo.com.hk).

       

      If you use Firefox or Chrome and you let your browser save your passwords, you can try to retrieve your login details.

      For Firefox, go to Options --> Security --> Saved Passwords.

      For Chrome, go to options --> Personal Stuff --> Manage Saved Passwords.

      Hi,

      Did you save the changes? If not, simply exit without clicking save, if you did - describe what was before the changes and what shouldn't be there (sp we'll know what's after the changes) and we'll revert the site for you.

    This sounds like a browser related issue, which browser and version are you using?

    Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

     

    HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.

     

     

    While working on your Wix site, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

    Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

     

    Let us know how it went and which browsers and versions you've tested.
