How I can send my site in preview mode on what I've change to my customers before I publish it out?  Can this be done?

      Hi wkwan7,

Any person who has your Account Details- registered email and password will be able to edit your site. Please make sure to give your password to authorized people only. Please note: editing your site is possible only on one computer at a time. When one person finishes editing your site, he should log out. Then another person can log in to start editing your site on a different computer. Please make sure that two people don't enter your Editor at the same time.

For information about Copyrights, Terms & Conditions and Security click here.

If you don't want to give your Account details, you can consider the possibility of sending your customers screenshots of the website before you publish it.

      Hope this helps!

If you have any further questions please let us know.

I bought my site, have not yet published .  I can preview with no problems from the preview in my site as I am editing.  But, when I go to the WIX page, upper right corner and click preview my site.  I hear music, and see nothing but buttons (Home, About us, etc).  Is this because I am not yet published?  I am a bit unnerved because my site is a business and in order to make money, definitely need to see what is offered.   Thanks for reading this, and  responding in a timely manner  G.G.'sGems

You should be able to preview your site from ' My account  ' page even if you have not published your site yet.

Please try the following steps :

      1. Open your browser to a blank page. Close any Wix pages that are open.
      2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies of "Everything". You can find step-by-step instructions here.
      3. Restart your browser and then log into your Wix account and try again.
      4. Try using other browsers to open Wix. Recommended browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and either IE or Safari (depending on whether you use a PC or a MAC).

Once you complete the steps above please try to go to My account -> Preview website.

      Thank You,

      Hi dentalsolution5,

I checked your site, and was not able to recreate the issue. Shown below:

In order to fix the problem we must isolate its source.
      For that purpose, please:
      1. Try again using another browser.
      2. Try again using another computer.
      3. Try again using a different internet connection.

      4. Most website browsers contain built in pop-up blockers.
As many of the features in Wix.com feature pop-ups or automatically open a new browser you will need to allow pop-ups from Wix.com.

For a comprehensive step by step guide to disable your pop-up blocker please click here.

Please let us know if any of the above changed the status of your problem.

Nothing happens when I click preview.  The word "preview" is actually covered by a yellow box which will not allow me to preview my site when clicking on it.  Help!

    Hi marjimilam1,

I checked your editor and could see that your text box is blocking the menu:

You can resolve this issue by clicking the text box and click "Send backward" button:

Please make sure to Save the site once you make necessary change.

When I go into the Preview mode - I can't preview the entire site. I have change to edit, change to the page I want to preview and  go into Edit mode back and forth.

    Thank you,

    Marji Gabert-Milam

PS - I find the site easier than Go Daddy, but still hard to navigate for a novice.

When editing your site again, please make sure that your site's width does not exceed 980px.

Currently, the width of your site is fixed at 980px. This size was chosen in order to accommodate the largest number of internet users that will be visiting your site. This is common for the new generation of sites, as it ensures compatibility with the many different smart devices being used today (e.g. iPad users) where you only scroll up or down.

You can design your site outside of the 980px borders, however, we recommend that anything that you add outside of these borders be mainly decorative and not vital content to your visitors' browsing experience.

If you click on the gridlines icon at the top of the Editor, you will see a grid appear on your site.
The gridlines do not appear on your live site - they are there as a guide that can help you map and design your site better.
To remove the gridlines, simply click on the gridlines icon again.
