Preview Mode lets you view and browse through your site as it were live. You can also preview any changes that you make before saving them.

 

To preview your site: From the top of the Editor, click Preview.

To go back to the Editor: From the left of the preview window, click Back to Editor.
 

Note: You can preview your site, through the Editor, at any time, even after your site is published!

    When I try to preview my site, the menu functionality doesn't work.

    I am working on a Mac, and when I was on my PC as my office it was working just fine.

    Does Wix not work well with Macs?

      Hey, 

      I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties. Your site should work properly on Macs. 

      Please note that there is a text box on your page covering your menu (it makes the menu un-clickable):

      We also recommend you to try and use different browsers and see if there is any difference.

    Hi, I cannot open my site from my pc but it is working fine on mobile. why is that? attached is screenshot.

      I checked the contact menu tab and it worked. Are you still having this issue?

    Hi. I'm in preview mode and there is no button saying 'back to editor'.

      Hello,

      I've checked both of your editors and I the button was there on my end. This leads me to believe that what you're experiencing is a local issue that derives from a local misconfiguration.

      Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

      If the issue persists please include more information - what is there instead of the 'Back to editor' button? Please include a screenshot.

    I am able to preview my site, but the not the slide show - it actually sits on one of your original images, none of the images that I loaded.  I want to see what it looks like before I publish.  Any suggestions?

      Please Publish (best way to see if it's working) the site and disable it from being available on Google search.

      You can unpublish it by going to Settings > SEO (Google) > uncheck "Allow search engines to find my site" -> click "Done".

    hi i want to know if i want to give my client a preview link how can i do that.

    coz when i go to preview mode the link if i give client ask them to login with id and password which i woundnt wanna share with them.

      Hi  ganeshartdesigns,

      It is not possible to see the Preview mode without entering your Username and Password. 

      You can publish your website so people can view it.  If you don't want your site to be visible to search engines, you can unpublish it by going to Settings > SEO (Google) > uncheck "Allow search engines to find my site" -> click "Done".

    I am not able to click on "preview". The floaty bar comes up telling me to click there to preview, but it covers the preview buttons so I can't really click on it!

      Hello,

       

      Please make sure your browser's zoom properties are set to their default (100%).

      You can do so by changing it through the browser's menu or by pressing CTRL + 0 on your keyboard.

      Hi, it is on 100%, I don't think it has anything to do with the zoom.. I am able to put my mouse over the "preview" button but as soon as I go to click, it says click to preview. It does the same for save and publish, but I am able to click on the tiniest little part of one of the letters that isn't covered by the floating button, so it will work for me. But not with "preview"
