Preview Mode lets you view and browse through your site as it were live. You can also preview any changes that you make before saving them.

 

To preview your site: From the top of the Editor, click Preview.

To go back to the Editor: From the left of the preview window, click Back to Editor.
 

Note: You can preview your site, through the Editor, at any time, even after your site is published!

    Only the header appears on the website

    Hello, I got my website all built up, but when I preview it or when I go directly to the site address, all I get is the heading of the site, nothing more. It's bee like for one day.

    Hi

    I cannot access the Wix editor or my site.

    It keeps getting stuck on loading... I cleared anything i could on my browser but still no good.

    What can I do?

      Please try clearing your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here .

      Please also try using a different browser and if the problem persists, please try using a different computer or internet connection if possible.

    Hi

    I cannot access the Wix editor or my site.

    What can be the problem.

    I use Maxthon and have had no trouble so far and the site is working up until tonight.

      Hello,

      We visited your live site and it looks fine with no any loading problems.

      Please clear your browser cache (instructions for Maxthon here) or use another browser and check if the issue persists.

    Slide show

    I uploaded 3 pics to the image gallery for the slide show on my home page.  I am unable to view any of the pics or trigger the slide show to begin.  How do I do this prior to publishing the site?

    Hello

    I can change pages in my preview, but everytime I do change pages through the menu the new page jumps halfway down and I have to scroll up.

    How can I stop this happening?

      I just checked your site but wasn't able to recreate the issue.

       

      Can you please specify on what pages do you encounter the problem? 

       

      Have you also tried to clear cache and cookies and edit your pages again?

    The header menu is not displaying properly when trying to preview my edited site. It seems to work fine if I go through the editor. The preview is not working when I am trying to access the preview link from the manage my site, site actions, preview website link. 

    What is the difference between the two previewers? Seems like a previewer bug not a cache issue. I get the same behavior on mac, windows, chrome, firefox, IE..etc.

      Sorry I was not specific enough in my description. Hover over wedding. The options are not the expected color and I cannot select the sub pages.  See screenshot.

      Hi,

      I followed your last instructions and the menu and subpages works perfectly from my end.

      For example: 

       

      Please keep in mind: your live site will perform as the preview within the editor.

      You can also publish your site to see how your live site appears.

      If you don't want your site to be visible to search engines, you can unpublish it by going to Settings > SEO (Google) > click the toggle "Allow search engines to find my site" -> click "Done". Please make sure the toggle is red.

      Once you have clicked the toggle be sure to hit Save!

       

      This means, you can publish your site and uncheck the box: to allow search engines to crawl your site, you will be the only one who sees your live site unless you choose to provide the link to others.

    i think there might be a button that says preview in the top right corner let me check though
