Add a Member Login button to your site to allow visitors to sign up or log in to access your members-only pages.

 

To add a Member Login button: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click Member Login Button > Drag the Member Login Button into place.

 

If you want the Member Login button to appear on all of your site's pages, click the Member Login button > click Show on all pages.

 

To set which of your pages are members-only and for more information about members-only pages, click here.

    if i add a blog to my site can I add a separate login for just that page?

    they need to totally redesign that login system, it is definitely not practical at all and not enough options to change it the way we want it! Total disaster!

    Is it possible to change the text of the member login button? I do not want it to say Login/Sign Up but I can't find an option to change it.

      Hi,

      Currently, you can customize only the language  and color of the member login button.

      We understand that additional customization options are required and we are working on adding the following customization options:
      - Customizing the position of the signup\login window.
      - Adding more layouts for the signup\login window.

    member login

    I would like to have a members only section on my site, is that possible? I know how to add the login button however how do I get the botton to go to a specific page that can only be access once they log in?

    Restrict to site members

    So in the editor you can Click a option called Restrict to site members and then it says you can manage your Site members but when i go there all i get it a list of the members i have and then edit them with basic info nothing like make a admin or give them special access

    Hello guys, i have a few questions, how do i link my login button to a profile and how do i create my profile for example members login and are prompted to their profiles, how do i make profiles for all my members ??

      Hello,

       

      From the My Contacts section of your Wix account you can manage and organize your site contacts as well as approve or block site members.

       

      To manage your contacts: Sign in to your Wix account > click My Sites > next to the relevant site, click Manage Site > select the My Contacts tab.

      From here you can add or import contacts, approve site member requests and more!

    Learning how to add a  Member Login Button and what it can do for you is found at the following address: http://www.wix.com/support/main/html5/wix-editor/pages/password-protecting-pages-and-adding-member-login-button  I read through each part and was able to make it possible for parents to login to a Parent Login Page where they can access their child's grades.

    At first, parents create a login account so to speak by entering their email address and their own password.  Their email address shows up on My Contacts where I can approve or block them from the Parents Login Page.

    I believe in your situation this would work for you as well.

      Hey, 

      You can add a contact from to your site! 

      To add a Contact Form: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Apps > click Contact Form. 

      Click the Contact Form to select it > from the pop-up menu, click Settings > under Email To, check or correct the email address > under Email BCC, enter email that will be blind-copied when your visitors fill in the form > under Customize Form Fields, choose which fields should appear and rename them accordingly.


      My contacts gives you easy access to the people you want to reach. Assign individual notes and instantly approve sign-up requests

      You can efficiently manage your site users to build professional relationships with this option.
       

      To use this option simply go to My Sites -> click on Manage Site next to your site -> click on My Contacts.

    Daft question but I have added the register/login button to my site but as I can't test it on my un-published site, what happens when you register/login? I just want the option to appear at the checkout...

      Hi,

      The members login button allows your site visitors to sign up to your site or access your members-only pages.

      When a user click the log in button a window opens up asking for his/ her name and email address. 

      From the My Contacts section of your Wix account you can manage and organize your site contacts as well as approve or block site members.

      From here you can add or import contacts, approve site member requests and more.
