There are five options to add music to your Wix site:

1. Add an Audio Play Button to add an MP3 track to your site: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Audio Play Button. The maximum upload file size is 15MB. For more information click here.

2. Add a Single Audio Player and add, change or re-name a single MP3 track: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Single Audio Player. The maximum upload file size is 15MB. For more information click here.

3. Add a SoundCloud Audio player to your site to share your SoundCloud music with your visitors: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click SoundCloud Audio.

For instructions about how to add SoundCloud Audio click here.
To add a SoundCloud Playlist click here.

4. Add an iTunes button to your site and give your visitors the option of downloading your chosen tracks directly from iTunes: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click iTunes Button.

5. Add the Spotify Player and add an instant soundtrack to your site: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Spotify Player.

Can you please upload the mp3 track to Dropbox or any other File hosting site, and send us the link so we can test it on our end?

    Hello Wix Team,

Im a new user and I got to say this is pretty amazing stuff you guys were able to create here. I been manually coding HTML, CSS, JavaSC, but man... Glad I found this site!

My question is, Im doing a site for my local Church, and I would like to create a playlist of multiple audio files, (I dont want that SoundCloud due to downloading feature and ability to leave comments). Is there a way I can add multiple tracks and create a playlist using the regular "add media/audio" tab?

(Simplified question: How can I create a playlist on using the add audio tab)

    Thank you in Advance

      Hey Alex,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

At the moment, the only way to add a playlist to your site is by using SoundCloud.

Thanks for the quick and prompt reply, I will try out the SoundCloud I guess.

Also, by any chance, do you know why my imported images as PNG, JPEG quality decreases and becomes all pixelated when I import it form my PC?

I tried using 300px resolution in Photoshop and saving out as PNG and JPEG (up to 1mb) and image still comes in pixelated no matter what I do it... any suggestions on how to maintain the crisp quality of an image without using the gallery feature.

      Hey Alex,

Please save your images in the RGB32 color space format and re-upload it to Wix.

You can use photoshop , GIMP or a photoshop alternative, for editing your images and applying color spaces.

This will assist in increasing the color compatibility across platforms, which means colors you see on your monitor would look more like the colors your site visitors see.

You can find more information on improving image quality here.

If you need further assistance or information, please let us know.

      Hey  nicoled11,

I checked your site via editor and I was able to add an audio player without recreating any issues.

Are you referring to a different music player or an app?

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

We also recommend you to try and use different browsers and see if there is any difference.

I have posted small snippets of songs on my Music/Media page.  All songs are under 10mb.  However, I added another song to this particular page today and it knocked out the ability to play 3 other songs.  I was trying to see if I'm over space but Wix said it would provide a warning.  I haven't received that yet.  I deleted the media button and recreated it; added the song; saved and published and the media play will not work.  I tried to copy it from a working button and paste it in a new place (replacing the song), and that does not work.  What am I doing wrong?  Is there too much music on this page even though it's small snippets?

Some of your audio player buttons are not clickable, due to your box covering them, as you can see from my screenshot:

Thanks Nat.  I tried to go back and correct the issue but I can't see how the box is covering the audio player.  I just redid the boxes and re-sized the audio player (just started from scratch) and now only 1 is working.  I can't see what I'm doing wrong.  Sorry to be a bother.

If you wish these buttons to works properly, please move the ' play ' button outside the box for example:

You guys are wonderful!  Thank you!  I didn't think to do it that way because the set at the bottom of that same page, the play button is in the box.  However, I'm glad it works!!  Thank you again.

My audio player will no longer play the mp3 I've loaded in  "My Music."  I created the button months ago (and attached it to each page header), and it successfully loaded and played in the past.  I recently elected to disable the "auto play" feature, thereby offering my viewers an elective play solution.  I've gone to the Wix site editor several times, and had no luck restoring the player functionality.  The button shows the "loading" animation, but when I click the button to play my file, nothing happens...

I've tried adding music from iTunes (which finally seemed to work) and it goes through the process (the green bar on the bottom) BUT nothing appears in the box.

Then I bought a song from Triple Scoop Music and added that which was able to be downloaded in Wix.  I click on the song and "choose song" which makes the page close and when I preview I don't hear the song.

And each time I have to re-add the song as it doesn't save (even though I have physically told it to save).

How are you trying to add music from your itunes? Via which component?

Where did you add a song from Triple Scoop Music? To the audio player?

Hello, I've attempted to add an audio file to my page, but with no luck. I downloaded the ID3 Tag Editor, and have changed the ID3 tags, but still no luck!

In the above article, it states, "Please note that if you receive this error when uploading an mp3 file, it is possible that your file is an mp3- but it's missing the proper ID3 tags. We require proper ID3 tags for all mp3 files uploaded to Wix." What does, "proper ID tags" mean? Please help :(

    Thank you!

Keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore our support team cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App.

We recommend testing your code externally.

You can do this using sites such as the following:

I checked your site and I was able to hear the audio files you have added to your home page.

If you are still facing a problem, please provide us with the following information:

      1. What specific components are you referring to and where are they located on your site?

      2. What exactly happens when you try to play them?

      3. What browser are you using? Can you recreate the problem using a different browser?
