There are five options to add music to your Wix site:

1. Add an Audio Play Button to add an MP3 track to your site: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Audio Play Button. The maximum upload file size is 15MB. For more information click here.

2. Add a Single Audio Player and add, change or re-name a single MP3 track: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Single Audio Player.

3. Add a SoundCloud Audio player to your site to share your SoundCloud music with your visitors: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click SoundCloud Audio.

For instructions about how to add SoundCloud Audio click here.
To add a SoundCloud Playlist click here.

4. Add an iTunes button to your site and give your visitors the option of downloading your chosen tracks directly from iTunes: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click iTunes Button.

5. Add the Spotify Player and add an instant soundtrack to your site: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Media > click Spotify Player.

Hey I've had an upgraded site for a while now.  Everything has been great, but all of a sudden my music no longer works?  I've uploaded, reloaded, done everything.  It just doesn't play any music anymore? Why has it all of a sudden changed?  I haven't changed anything in my website prior to this.

Where is the play button located on your site? (i.e. what page) Please provide us with a direct URL to the page containing the audio player.

Are you experiencing this issue with a specific browser?

What happens when you click on play in the audio player?

Thank you for your cooperation, we await your reply.

      Hi barryallenfriedman,

We are able to add the embed codes from SoundCloud with no problem.

Just make sure you copy the entire code that appears in the box underneath 'Code & preview.'

For 'Milk And Honey', the code you get in the box is:

      <iframe width="100%" height="450" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/131536020&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;visual=true"></iframe>

Please let us know should you need further assistance.

I found some of my problem is my MacBook. If I load my web page on my PC the music plays - it used to play on my MacBook, but for some reason it doesn't anymore...

If you want to test and see if you have the same problem, here is my site: http://cmkjeldsen.wix.com/ckfineart

Again, it plays on my PC and not my Mac, so it' seems to work on the Wix site....

I can't help anyone here.  I've been trying for weeks and months on and off to add music to my website.  None of the directions or videos match what actually is in my editing options.  I have tried over and over to add an audio button and instead I just get a square with a circular thing that goes around and around.  I I have an uploaded MP3 ready to add, but can't get past the first step.  HELP!!!

    Hi Wix,

I've been trying to add audio files to my wix site for days now, but they won't play. This hasn't happened before so I'm not sure why it's started now. I was hoping to upgrade once the audio files were working, so this is turning out to be quite a setback.

I've been trying to add mp3 audio files using the Wix Play button, files no more than 5.8MB each so way under the limit.

    Can you help?

      Thank you for your reply.

I checked your site, and was able to listen to your SoundCloud audio files as well as the Daily Audio Reflections. Is the issue occuring with any file in particular? If so, which one, and what happens when you press the play button? Also, does the same issue occur when using a different browser?

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in investigating this issue.

Hi - I am trying to add multiple songs to my Audio player but when I choose multiple songs, the Choose Track button cannot be clicked.  The online tutorial says you just have to hit control to select multiple songs but how can I add them?

I found the information on our Learning Center page. I apologize but this information isn't correct yet. We are working on this option but for now it won't work.

I have removed the information so others won't get confused.

Please let me apologize again for the inconvenience.

I am experiencing trouble with my music playing on my site. I have done everything suggested, and it says the Soundcloud is playing (you can look and see the seconds pass) but there's no music! Like its on mute or something? I don't know what to do.

OK...in your on on line tutorials, it states that you can add multiple files to the audio player, however, when I select more than one of my MP3 files, the Choose Track button greys out, and a message comes up telling me I cannot have more than one file.

Also, it would be ideal if I could insert embedded code from other sites into my site, especially from www.cincopa.com as I have spent a lot of time building playlists for videos, audio, and photo galleries there. I was lead to believe from your marketing that I could embed code from other sites, but it would seem you have a deal in place with Soundcloud which precludes others from being able to have their embedded code appear on your site. This has really annoyed me, especially since Soundcloud has a VERY crappy interface, buggy uploads (when I try to do multiple uploads to create a playlist, it states a number of files failed to upload, and I have to go into the system and manually upload one file at a time, then put those into the playlist, and then manually change every image....it's a complete piece of crap) and it does not allow you to change the skin.

    Cincopa allows more flexibility.

So, why can't you introduce the ability to embed other sites code??? Others do.

    Please advise.

With the HTML App you can test and add your own HTML code to your Wix site.

For more information check out the tutorial below, or you can click here.

*Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App via the link above before using this.

Keep in mind that by adding external HTML code you are adding products and code that we have not tested or created in Wix, therefore our support team cannot answer any questions concerning the HTML iFrame/Embed App.

We recommend testing your code externally.

You can do this using sites such as the following:
