* Note for YouTube videos: From your YouTube video's settings, make sure that your video is set to 'Public' and that the 'Allow Embedding' box is checked (in Advanced Settings).
Also make sure not to use the video's full screen link as it will not work in Wix's video player.

Hi, there. I just wanted to know if it was possible to upload multiple videos on one page and have my visitors simply scroll down to view them instead of making multiple pages for multiple videos, as that can get rather messy. Thanks for your time!

      Hi juvi-guevara,

      This is possible. :)

Simply keep adding the videos according to the above instructions, and drag them to the desired location on the same page. Your footer should automatically lengthen according to how far you drag the video along your page.

If you experience any difficulty doing this, please let us know what issues you encountered so that we can assist you further.

This may really be a youtube question, but I'm trying to convert a video file from a news clip to a format supported by youtube so that I can then place the clip on a wix page...

    Any suggestions?

Here is the news clip I'm talking about.

      Hi annemendelson,

You simply click on the HTML app. If you aren't able to click on it, please click on any element on your page and use CTRL+M to simply toggle between your elements until you get to the HTML app.

If you require any further assistance please let us know.

I'm having trouble uploading my videos to my site.  The urls are not listed on or in the videos.  They are listed by name only.   I've followed the help instructions for uploading videos but it doens't work due to no listed urls.

      Hi David,

What do you mean "they are not listed"?

Please note that the URL is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web. A URL is the fundamental network identification for any resource connected to the web.

      For example: http://www.bla88bla88bla.com//.

I have noticed that you have added a video ("Trailers" page) with the following URL: http://youtu.be/5IAiH28P9p8, and it works great!

"* Note for YouTube videos: From your YouTube video's settings, make sure that your video is set to 'Public' and that the 'Allow Embedding' box is checked (in Advanced Settings). "

While you can upload your images directly to Wix, unfortunately its not possible to upload videos.

You can upload your own videos by first uploading and retrieving them from YouTube.com or from Vimeo.

      For more information, click here.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

How do I upload a youtube video, have it on auto play, but have it muted so that people see the video playing, but don't have to listen to it?

      Hey  jasono8,

Currently we do not offer the feature to mute your videos. Muting them in YouTube or Vimeo only affects them locally, but not for your site visitors.

I would suggest creating a mute version of your video, uploading it to YouTube or Vimeo and embedding the muted version onto your site.

How to upload a video from your computer to wix?

In order to add a video to your Wix site you must first upload it from your computer to a video hosting site e.g YouTube, Vimeo etc.

After doing so, please follow the instructions in the comment marked as "Best Reply" above for adding a video to your Wix site.

      Hi Youness,

Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment. You can view our video apps as mentioned in the best reply above at our app market to create a video gallery.

We document and learn from every feature request and bug brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.

Feel free to add your feature request to our Wish List by posting here.

You can keep up to date with what features are coming soon here.

      All the best, Ellie

Hi. Can I watch my video in HD? I put my videos on my website here from vimeo, and it says I can't watch my video in HD, and it told me to watch it from vimeo. This is my work freelance site, and i'd like my client to watch videos HD from this website :( Is there a way?

    • gills2 Wix Team

      Hey  thalita88s,

Vimeo is a service we do not have any control for, and our app simply allows our users to embed Vimeo video into their sites.

Vimeo restricts HD embedding for normal Vimeo users (not Wix), and it's their service - nothing related to us and in order to do so you need to be a Vimeo Plus user. You may contact them on this regard as I'm afraid our hands our tied here.

You can always try using YouTube as they shouldn't restrict HD embedded video.

You can try embedding the video using the HTML app.

With the HTML App you can test and add your own HTML code to your Wix site.

For more information check out the tutorial below, or you can click here.

*Take a minute to read through the Known Issues & Limitations of the HTML iFrame/Embed App via the link above before using this.

      Best regards
