Yes, changing an item's content in one list will change the item's content in any list where the item appears. This means that you will only have to update an item's content once and the changes will automatically appear wherever the item appears!

I copied a list but got two instances of the same list

When I change the 2nd list, copied from the 1st one, the content of the 1st one changes identically to the changes in the 2nd list. I can't find a switch to turn this off. Is this a bug or can I stop this behaviour?

Is it possible to make a duplicate of a list (in order to keep all layout, elements, etc.) and change the content on the duplicate only ?

Thank you. I created a new list, then clicked on Change Design, but then on the Design Tab, the option "Copy Other list Design" is greyed (not working).

      How comes ?

      Hi,

I'm Yuval (from the list-builder team). You can copy design between two lists in the same Library (and if you only have one list in the Library, you can't borrow another's list design).

FYI: If you copy and paste a list, the *same items* are included in both lists so when you change an item it changes on another list. Some people really need it, some don't.

So, if you copy and paste a list and want entirely different items, click the list settings, go to the items tab and click the Filter icon to select which existing items to include from the Library.

When you add items to your second list, they are not automatically added to your first list - so you can re-use the list design and have completely different items in your two lists.

      Hope this helps,

      Yuval Goldstein.

    Hi!

There´s a way to not activate this?

I want to have the same item with different prices.

Example: 4*Hotel. In one page I want a 4* hotel with 500 euros and in another a 4*Hotel with 600 euros.

Meaning I need the Item with same name but different prices. Is that possible?

if you'll use our e-commerce platform you can create a different collection and for the same hotel just changing the price.

You can also use the following coupons to receive a discount on the yearly Unlimited/eCommerce premium packages!

Moreover, you should try using our List builder widget, it will help you to manage all the content in your website in a better and more organized matter.

      Hey,

I'm Yuval from the List-Builder team.

You can create two different items, each item with a difference price and choose to show the first item in one list, and the other item in another list.

To determine which items to show in a list, click the list settings, then the items tab and click the Filter icon. There, you'l see all the items in the library and would be able to select which ones to show in this particular list.

      Hope this helps,

      Yuval Goldstein.
