One of the features of a Wix site is that the height of the site's pages does not have a predetermined size. Your pages will adjust their height dynamically according to the content that you add to them. If you add more text or elements, your pages will become longer in order to accommodate them.

To make your page longer, click the element located at the bottom of your page (or any element that you'd like to move downward) and drag if down using the Drag Handle.

To shorten your page, click the element located at the bottom of your page, and resize it using the Stretch Handle or drag it upwards using the Drag Handle.

Currently, the width of your site is fixed at 980px. This size was chosen in order to accommodate the largest number of internet users that will be visiting your site. This is common for the new generation of sites, as it ensures compatibility with the many different smart devices being used today (i.e., iPads or tablets).

    My site height is set at 3501 and I'd like to make the pages shorter when there is less content.  I have no problem to lengthen a page but it seems to be impossible to shorten the page if I remove content. Is there any help available for this problem?

    @allenduanereed

    You can either:

    1) create a mobile version to your site, and iPhone users will be redirected to it automatically.

    you can see how an iPhone will show your site by following this link here.

    2) place content  closer to the center and let iPhone users use the 'pinch to zoom' feature.

    My site is cut off on the left side when viewed with an iPhone. I'm thinking it's because the site is fixed at 980px. So, since this is not something I can control, how do I fix this? If that's what is going on... well surely I don't have to cram everything in the 980px box.

    @saffronbulbseire

    The only way to 'eliminate' this white spacing is to make your header be at the very top.

    You cannot drag it higher while there are objects above it.

    Please drag these items away, and then drag the header up using the drag handle.

    Hi I am just wondering if I can remove the unnecessary white space at the top of our website? If I could remove it or even make it smaller I think the site would look much better... I've tried on both a 15" screen and a 17" at all resolutions and its the same, I have managed to decrease the size of the footer, but the area above the header seems to be un changeable? is there a way to do this please??

    thanks for the help

    The site's width is set to 980 px. This means it isn't possible to stretch it to the right.

    Your site's length will though change according to the content on the page.
