Often, an element will be placed behind or in front of another element. Because of this, you might have difficulty selecting or deleting a specific element. You can solve this by bringing the element forward.

 

To bring an element forward: Click the element > from the pop-up menu, click the Bring forward icon. You will, then, be able to move, edit or delete the element.

Alternately, if you are unable to click the element to select it, click the element in front of it > click the Send backward icon to send that element behind the element that you are trying to access.

Note: For an element in your header, when unchecking the Show on all pages box, the element might move behind the header causing it to appear inaccessible. To access the element, move the header backwards as described above or use Ctrl + M to toggle through the elements on your page until the element is selected.

    On my page I have a scenery background page that is good. But now I have information that is on top of my background and being copied to all pages. I would like help getting the infomation removed from my page. i cannot figure it out.

      I was able to locate the text box on your site. You will now be able to select and remove it.

      The text box appears on the page"About Me"

    Same issue and Ctrl+M does not find the box. Assistance needed to remove "DACUM-Based Process" wording from bottom of Coming Soon page.

    I'm having a similar issue. I have a "shop now" button stuck below my footer on all of my pages that I can only see in preview mode. When the in the editor, the only page I'm able to view it on is the home page and that's after I send everything to the back, on all pages.... but I am unable to select the box still... just really want the "shop now" box deleted.

    Wix,

    Two of my text boxes seem to be stuck behind the page, I have tried multiple solutions and cannot fix the problem.  Please help!

    We have tried "Move Backwards" and Ctrl+M and still cannot select a line and the text: "Prearrangement Form" which shows up on all pages of the http://jimta1.wix.com/fcsc Web site.  This error is not published.

      Hi,

       

      In order to reach an item that you can’t see through your editor or cannot reach, do the following:

      1. Choose a random item in the page

      2. Click CTRL + M to go through all the items. Keep clicking it until you reach the item.

       
      When that does not solve it, it is something else that only our QA team can resolve. Not something you can do from your end.
      We believe this issue is gone now.

    I'm having a similar problem.  I have a text field that I can't select, move, delete, send forward/backwards, etc.  It's also showing up on all my pages. 

    I have tried deleting the page, clearing the cache, and using Ctrl M.

    The original page the issues started at is:  Horseback Rides On The Beach ..... located at ThreeOaksFarm.org

      Thank you so much for your help.   It appears there is still '1' beige color block shape stuck behind all the pages that needs to be removed also.     If you could assist with that, we would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Wix,

    I cannot seems to move any element of my page once I added it on my page. I've reopen my browser a few times and open the editor again, but the problem is still there.  Please help!

      Thank you for contacting Wix support. I wasn't able to recreate the issue you are facing from my end.

      We recommend clearing your browser's cache as that sometimes solves issues. You can find step by step instructions here.

      Please note that clearing your browser's cache will not resolve all issues.

      We also recommend you to try and use different browsers and see if there is any difference.

      Wix supports all major browsers (including IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari), and all of those browsers support the ability to export favorites and bookmarks to the newly installed browser.
