When I use the opacity settings for a color under page settings when I publish it it shows on google chrome and firefox but on safari it returns the opacity slider to either 0% or 100% and the blending effect does not show. instead it shows the full color or no color. This is only seen when view the site on apples safari browser

Thanks Mascha, I already ad the wix servers names to godaddy for that to work. I am still in middle of the editing process and I can say I am loving it so far :) Soon my website will be up live!
Thanks for your help!

Sure you can connect your wix site to a domain from another host.
Find the instructions here.
Note that you will have to upgrade to premium to be able to connect your domain.
Read more on our premium packages here.

Hi, can I use a domain I already have? For example www.epicdose.com or I have to use "wix" (something like www.epicdose.wix.com...) together in order to use your services?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing troubles.
What exactly do you mean by "everything is squared off"? Please explain the problem and send us a screenshot if possible.Currently it is not possible to add transparency to an image from the editor. Please edit your photo using an image editing program such as Photoshop before uploading the image. For more information about how to add an image, click here.So far there is only the possibility to crop an image as a square. But we document and learn from every feature request and bug brought to our attention. These objectives are immediately high priority milestones in Wix's product road map.
Feel free to add your feature request to our Wish List by posting here.
Thanks.Mascha, Support-Team Wix

I really hate the editor Wix has for the HTML5. Everything ends up being squared off. I hate it. You
can't or I can't seem to find it how to make images transparent. The effects doesn't show up/work so can't use that. And cropping a picture forget that not everything is a square. This is just total garbage.

Under Box Settings, select Change Style to reach the Change Style Menu. Here you have a choice of four styles which you can customize to fit your needs. Each time you change the style, it will affect all boxes set to that style.
If you would like to create a new style for an individual box, select a style that is not used for the other boxes and edit it as you see fit. If you wish to use more box options, upload a box image created with an image editing software (please note that it will need to have a .png extension to retain opacity settings).
Please click here for more information about using boxes in the HTML editor.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.Sincerely, Leah Wix Support
