there is a function in edit image which allows you to make some changes, as a graphic designer can I suggest laying out your font differently....its quite hard to read, you need more paragraphs  :)

Another question -- is there a way I can "import" a webpage that was already designed using an HTML editor?  Or is there a way to "copy/paste" the html source code into WIX as though it was an editor?

Hi, I have a website located here: http://wrightinchicago.wix.com/philosophy#

I think the background is too "loud" and dark.  Is there a way I can change the background contrast with your tools; or should I use Photoshop first for imaging and then re-upload?

    Hi theycallmebarz,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is happening because you're using an older and outdated browser version of IE.

Please make sure to update your browser to the latest version available and to try other updated browsers in an attempt to try and isolate the issue.

HTML5 is a new web technology and older, outdated browser versions do not fully support this.

While working on your Wix site, your computer and browser stores various information. This build up of information can sometimes cause conflict.

Please clear your browser's cache. You can find step by step instructions here.

Let us know how it went and which browsers and exact versions you've tested.

Not sure if I am the only one but the wix editor freezes my computer. Gives me a scripting error when I click to "edit" any template. The editor worked for me last week but it is no longer working.

You can edit any template extensively and this is available to free users. You can remove anything on a template, drag it to reposition, add other components and more. So no, you are not doomed to our templates but editing can only be done with our editor, not with coding.

Once we have upgraded to Premium, are we able to use our own design or edit the site from scratch? Or are we forever DOOMED to using the templates? Are we allowed to edit the templates html/css directly?
